He stayed out of the fight, and fans love him for that.

Not saying he did a bad job, just sharing his own opinion After the fight.

    Weeks did a horrible job.

How did he NOT see Maidana *bite* Mayweather in the 12th?

    WTF???

I was only annoyed by the ball shots, mainly because i felt them myself

Floyd did his thing and so did Maidana. Eye for an eye. :yep

Mayweather got in his low blows and forearms as well in the fight. Point deductions could have made the end result dicey. He gave warnings even though he admittedly could have been more stern. Personally I thought it helped in making a fan friendly fight.

Weeks should have taken a point from Mayweather for elbows, arm locks, holding, etc. But I am not naive to think he would have done it. He was there to oblige Mayweather, to make sure he is in his confort zone. He is not a good referee for he would have done it less visible.

Maidana did fight dirty, but Floyd reacted and got in his dirty shots too. I just think point deductions would have gotten messy. with the magnitude of a Mayweather fight, the fact that it was fan friendly even though it was rough at times, and the fact that the right man got the decision anyway. given the circumstances I thought it could have been better obviously but Weeks did as well as he could reffing that kind of fight
