if anything, I think it raises Floyd's stature even more. He showed he's not all flash. He can gut out a win when he needs to. He can win ugly if he needs to. It was the same with RJJ/Tarver 1. Yes RJJ struggled, but I liked seeing him win an ugly fight. same with this past saturday

If Ward would fight more often, he'd make a good case, but he rather fight in court. Rigo's accomplishment is too thin...yeah, he looks good, but he's got only one good win.

Stevenson is ducking Kovalev and neither guy can move up. GGG is no longer fighting Chavez and Martinez is fighting a guy he shouldn't be fighting.

The P4P list is such a mess and nobody seems to have a good case. The default is always Pac & May and May arguably lose his last fight.

I don't have a problem with Ward and Martinez being lower than top 5. Neither of them have been particularity active as of them, and Martinez's last performance was woefully underwhelming.

No I don't. Doesn't strike me as a happy person. Always trying to hard to impress people by bragging about money or spending/ giving money away. He craves attention too and that isn't my style. I don't have 7 or 10 digits in my bank account, but 6 is ok for me. Money can bring problems just like being broke can.

Pacquiao has a great resume. Ledwaba and Sasakul is not even included in that list(great wins for Pacquiaio). Sasakul had an amateur record record of 85 fights, winning 78 of them, and also earned the King's Cup for the Best Boxer. Sasakul beat Yuri Arbachakov.

All BS aside explain to me how Mayweather beating Hoya coming off a KO win for a JMW title isn't better than Pac fighting Morales coming off a loss 3 times in a row with only the third fight being a loss to Pacquiao and going 2-1.

How is beating an unbeaten unified champ Alvarez coming off his best win not better than beating recently KO'd Cotto coming off an arguable loss with no trainer.

The only great fighter that isn't on Mayweather's resume that has shared a weight class with him is Pacquiao and arguably Tyszu. Margarito, Clottey, Quintana, Williams are not Great fighters there not fighters that change a resume to ATG based off career accomplishments and titles won Maidana, Guerrero, Alexander, Kahn, are all greater.

People **** on guys like Baldomir for Margarito but lets compare there career both had some early losses one went on an 8 year unbeaten streak one held a fringe belt for awhile one became undisputed champ one became WBA Champ one fought high level contenders from 147 to 160/68 the other got beat everytime he stepped up one weight class, if you compare the best fighters both guys have fought the best guys Baldomir fought would beat and in a lot of cases did beat the best guys Margarito fought as far as BOXING SKILLS Baldomir is a better boxer than Margarito and did more in boxing than Margarito but somehow Margarito> Baldomir

It's easy to argue the other way: DLH was quasi-retired at the time. He had only fought once in the previous 2 1/2 years and most would say he'd lost 2 of his previous 3 fights. Pacquiao also administered the maiden stoppage loss of Morales' career, whereas Mayweather's win was a somewhat competitive outpointing.

Alvarez was coming off an arguable loss too. Press row had Alvarez-Trout what… 60-40? 55-45? Cotto was also a much more accomplish fighter than Alvarez having been recognized as have been at the top of the WW heap for a good few years. You can say Alvarez was coming off the biggest win of his career, but that was because it was the only big win of his career.

Anyway we can make all sorts of anomalous comparisons between random wins of each Pac and Mayweather. Most will say their best wins are Barrera I and Corrales respectively. Which of the two would you say is better?

I personally don't think Corrales is his best win most dominant/entertaining maybe but comparing the two its not much different Barrera is an ATG, Corrales is a HOFer, both were top 5 P4P, Barerra's best days were behind him, Corrales best days were yet to come, the Corrales fight was more dominant vs the more prime fighter, the Barerra fight more competitive vs the higher favored fighter, one was facing jail time the other coming off brain surgery. the Barerra I win is probably better because that was Pac's 3rd/4th division title while Corrales was just a fight for the Lineal Title in his first weight class
