I can tell you, the 8th fighter is Aussie Hunter Sam, who after his terrific effort against David Levi to grab the National title, may go better than everyone thinks.

Don't quote me, but have been told that Solo was in this, He signed a contract, but then withdrew for reasons unknown.

Am I the only one thinking that line up seems to be a let down? Will that line up sell in NZ and Australia? It's worse than a Prizefighter line up with bigger prize money on offer.

Yes i agree, that's not like Solo at all.

I was told it maybe due to an ongoing injury that's kept him from fighting, which makes sense, because he has not been that active of late, and i know he will fight almost anyone when fit and ready.

So the final field should look like this:

    3. Michael Sprott 40-21-0

    4. Martin Rogan 16-4-0

    5. Antz Nansen 3-2-0

    6. Brice Ritani-Coe 3-2-1

    7. Alonzo Butler 30-2-1

    8. Hunter Sam 9-4-2

That's what they had up for Nansen on their website. Probably still do:

We had numerous Solo supporters who apparently had the inside word he was ready to go and Browne was dodging him yet now we hear he has an on-going injury and been kept from fighting. :huh

    Haumono's career is beyond stagnant.

Yes, he is fighting Evgeny 'Molecule from Hell' Orlov in Riga on July 26. He doesn't participate in this tournament.
