He thinks prime Reggie Johnson was better than prime Roy Jones, and I am giving him the last word so he feels special.:D

Well if he really thinks that, then hes special enough!

Dont get me wrong, Reggie was a fine fighter, but he was basically as good as he ever was against Roy and he didnt win one minute of one round against Roy.

Reggie was 10x the fighter in 91 than he was in 99.

People talk about steroids as if the make u super human lol if anything in boxing it would hinder you because it affects the heart. Mabe it would give u a slight edge for few rounds but it weakens ur heart and u dont last as long.

The only time roy ever missed you with a punch...he meant it to set up another! He really was unbelievable!! I actually think the real reason his resume wasn't as good as it could have been is because contrary to what a lot believe no one near him fancied the job because they all knew deep down...they wouldnt be winning that fight. Eubanks, benn, mclellan etc etc for as good as they were wouldn't have been able to hang with a prime roy jones. There really was no real competition for him which is crazy considering how competetive the divisions were around then!

Eubank admitted he wanted no parts of him

McClleland was to fight him had he won the Benn fight but we all saw what happened and honestly he would, have given Roy a tough as hell fight

As far as Benn ,dam shame that never happened ..He could of hung with Roy for a bit but then would have been blown out .

As much I hated on RJJ when he was fighting cans at 175, his OVERALL resume is just too impressive to ignore. He beat so many title holders and contenders.

My only wish was he fought DM at 175. I hate that that fight never came to fruition. Major stain on both their legacies.

Yeah dont think you could totally discount mclellan and benn because of the power they had against anybody especially mcllellan who i think would have been a danger to roy early. But would still have put my bank account on roy to beat pretty much anyone when he was prime. Steroids etc dont give you what roy had. Throw in a win over mclellan when he was knocking everyone over and roys resume would have been top notch as it stands it could have been better.

The GOAT in his prime. Simple as. What would Collins or Benn actually do for his resume? They are actually a tier below his best wins.

Gman was the only one out of the bunch that could have beat Roy based on power but if he didn't get to Roy early than I can see a pts win for Jones .
