guess what Floyd landed nothing impressive until the 7th round

7th is the first round where he looked good (I also gave him the 2th though)
I didn't watched the rest of the rounds but you get the idea, in the first half FLMJ landed nothing of importance so it's hard to win rounds when you don't counter effectively, you retreat and get hit on the ropes all day long

man, any fighter that tries to box with Floyd in the center of the ring (except maybe Pac - because of his speed and angles / faints) deserves to be humiliated because of his stupidity; it's clear that FLoyd has very good reaction times so why be a moron and play his game?

Maidana had success on the ropes, it's still part of the ring and it's called inside game not wrestling

    I'm blind then, I didn't agree with the 8%
    This content is protected
of the industry who thought Maidana won. Yet almost 50% on the forum thought Maidana won ... the hate is real

Very cool. Thank you. The body shots look on point. He did land a couple of shots to the head, but I think the second link was kind of glancing. Still, if this the highlight reel for Maidana, I have a hard time understanding why people think that Floyd lost the fight. I guess we'll see Saturday when I watch the replay.

Floyd landed the cleaner shots and also won on the cards. Maidana had a sloppy attack that was efficient in damaging his opponent but not efficient in winning the fight. It looked good to the untrained eye, but if you understand scoring in this sport its easy to see that Floyd won by a couple rounds at the least.

You bitches asked for them and got them.

    Owned.

I got it 7-5 also... at least you were objective in your scoring.

May won the fight and I dont think a rematch is warranted:
    a. He cannot complain about dirty tactics, as he uses them too.
    b. He is looking beatable, no surprise as he is 37. You can't beat Father Time.
    c. May suffered damage from this fight, he may never be the same, a tough fight is much harder near the end of your career.

It's very hard to land cleanly on Floyd up top....But Miadana landed to the body consistently and often. He also had success upstairs but Floyd was very slippery and evaded most of his efforts upstairs.

Love that left Hook Maidana caught him with @2:00 - 2:01, Floyd walked right into that .

Chino has improved so much , I love that he is using more of his jab now .

Pretty sure that's what you hope everyone is thinking .

But No , still no one thinks Floyd has an iron chin .

All because Maidana couldn't knock Floyd Out does not mean his chin is "Granite"

A younger Maidana couldn't knock Amir Khan out , Does that mean Khan chin is "Complete Granite "

Mayweather has done his share of dirty fighting over the years. He definitely lands a lot of clean blows, but he is a master at puting elbows and laces in his opponent's face. He also has used the arm bending manuever that Maidana used on him. He is just better at being more subtle about it. It's also very convinenient for him that he gets the star treatment form refs who look the other way. It's about time that somebody else gave him a taste of his own medicine.

Credit to Garcia too. Chino has improved a lot. He was baiting that pull counter of Floyd's, making him miss and countering with his own. We can see Garcia did his homework.
