Why did Mayweather initiate so many clinches against Maidana?

    Has anybody counted how many times he clinched in that fight? There were many rounds in which he clinched almost 10 times, for most of the fight it seemed like he was in survival mode. Has Pacquiao ever clinched this many times in a fight?
