1: Maidana, 10-9 Maidana 2: Mayweather, 19 all 3: Mayweather, 29-28 Mayweather 4: Maidana, 38 all 5: Maidana, 48-47 Maidana 6: Mayweather, 57 all 7: Mayweather, 67-66 Mayweather 8: Maidana, 76 all 9: Mayweather, 86-85 Mayweather 10: Mayweather, 96-94 Mayweather 11: Maidana, 105-104 Mayweather 12: Mayweather, 115-113 Mayweather Around round 6 I realize Maidana to win had to get knockdowns or a KO, because it was a close fight to then but that the judges were going to give Floyd benefit of the doubt in close rounds, which is what the judges' scorecards show.
Official judges' scorecards melded together round-by-round (Pernick scored the draw, Clements 117-111, Moretti 116-112): 1: Maidana 3-0 2: Mayweather 3-0 3: Mayweather 2-1 (Pernick dissenting for Maidana) 4: Mayweather 2-1 (Pernick dissenting for Maidana) 5: Maidana 3-0 6: Mayweather 3-0 7: Mayweather 3-0 8: Maidana 2-1 (Clements dissenting for Mayweather) 9: Mayweather 3-0 10: Mayweather 3-0 11: Mayweather 2-1 (Clements dissenting for Maidana) 12: Maidana 2-1 (Clements dissenting for Mayweather) which when added together comes out to a 116-112 scorecard, so Dave Moretti for every round was in the majority (meaning one of the other two judges always sided with how he scored the round) my biggest disagreement with that is round 4 because that was when the accidental headbutt occurred and after Floyd got cut that was when Maidana was best the whole fight to me was rounds 4 and 5, as probably Floyd was a little distracted then

Not gone through the whole fight properly... but how anyone scores round 3 for maidana i'l never know.
R Maidana Floyd 1 10 9 2 9 10 3 10 9 4 10 9 5 10 9 6 10 9 7 9 10 8 10 9 9 9 10 10 9 10 11 9 9 12 10 9 Maidana 115 112 Floyd I think maybe round 3 should have been Floyd. Floyd lost the fight because he simply did not throw enough and that is because Maidana was always approaching him carefully with a good defensive guard and pushed him in the ropes where he got hit to the body and he did nothing most of the time. I don;t care Maidana was unable to land clear shots on the inside because Floyd just exposed his body by keeping the guard up and countering rarely - there is nothing to hit at this point except the body . He did well in 7-10 rounds he looked more in control this is where Maidana failed to maintain the game plan and stayed in the center too much. Floyd is just a fighter with impressive reaction times and will always win to slow fighters that come to throw 1 punch in the ring center or gas out after a few rounds. He is no where near being an all time great, he was unable to trouble Maidana AT ALL because his offense against a decent fighter is just crap, he creates no agles, has no combinations to break the guard, he is just a lazy counter puncher that has no response when there is nothing to counter he brings nothing to the table.

Thank god some of you people are not boxing judges. You can't score for ****. Clear 8-4 floyd. Although I was generous to maidana and had it 7-5.
o wow you do realize that Floyd outlanded Maidana only by a few shots so, since he was dominant in the rounds 7 through 10 (maybe eleven) we know that he threw most of the shots in these rounds -> Maidana outlanded him in the majority of the rounds + he was the aggresor so how did Floyd won if he won fewer rounds just by the number of shots landed?
You mad. 46-0 90 out of 100 boxing writers, had floyd winning. Only 8 percent had it for maidana. Move on my son. 50-0 soon come.:deal
Anyone that has to use compubox or punch stats to score a fight, should not watch boxing full stop I don't need a machine to tell me what i'm watching.
