According to reports his ex aborted twins, that has got to play on anyones mind, he was engaged to Miss Jackson.

He lost his Woman and two potential children.

Imo this explains his lack lustre performance, a focused Floyd plays with Maidana.

I agree, but Floyd is expected to be the benchmark. so he will always be judged based on his last fight...which wasn't very flash (by his standards)

If that coke sucking ***** did that it would explain a lot

Killing your kids, even if they are in her belly is murder

Floyd was 100% not there mentally that night

Hopefully a rematch would prove it

I really didn't think his performance was all that lackluster. Maidana fought an excellent fight. Mayweather made some good adjustments and pulled out a tought win.

Enough excuses, why can't it just be a good fight? Phuck he still won.

Nothing wrong with having an off night. He still won at the end of the day.

And he could be he's 37 and past his prime. To argue that he's not at 37 is ridiculous.

Floyd wasn't distracted. Floyd always is physically and mentally prepared. It was just a fighter who stepped up his level to compete with the best. Floyd never really got out of 2nd gear....credit to Marcos.

    He's old. That's not even an excuse. He's 37.
People expect these fighters to be great/untouchable forever. It's never been that way, and never will be. They come and they go. Floyd's got some good fights left in him probably, but can't expect too much at his age.
