I think the rosado ggg problem was rosados camp was complaining. Grant had to issue some statement standing their ground.

Floyd wore 8 oz Grant fight gloves.
They are the gloves with the most padding.
Gloves must be approved by both sides.
The gloves Maidona originally wanted to wear were substandard and were rejected by the Nevada BoxingCommision.
So go **** yourself you ****in idiot --- **** for Brains.

It's crazy that Mayweather was going to call off the fight even though he signed a contract. I lost what little respect I had for Mayweather after this fight, he is worse than I thought and literally a coward.

Mayweather is embarrassment to the sport. Maybe the Nets should just pay the Heat to not use Lebron in the game.

The issue is,the Maidana camp switched to the "stock" red Everlast MX gloves. These were approved by the NSAC, but the Mayweather camp continues to object, saying that they aren't going to fight if Maidana wears the Everlast gloves.Maidana camp offered to compromise by wearing a pair of Cleto Reyes gloves, but Mayweather's camp objected to those as well. Reyes gloves are probably the most "puncher friendly" gloves.

Floyd is a pu$$y, an embarrassment to the sport.

Yea Mayweather continuing to object to the 2nd pair which WASN'T custom made me lose respect for him. What he gonna do next, make Maidana wear rabbit fur trunks with Liberaces or Little Richards face on them? Maidana was the tortoise and Floyd the hare and Floyd STILL has to cheat to win.

I don't think it did; Mayweather paid Maidana to wear different gloves.

He had no legal grounds to "make" him do anything that wasn't stipulated in their contract. Again, what was he gonna do if Maidana showed up in the ring wearing whatever NSAC approved gloves he wanted to? Walk away from the fight and leave tens of millions sitting on the table? Yeah, right. Maidana had a choice and he chose to come in the ring with the black and yellow Everlasts.

"After the post-fight press conference, Maidana’s manager Sebastian Contoursi told reporters that a deal was worked out but said it was confidential what the agreement actually entailed, leading many to believe Mayweather’s team gave up some extra money to have their way.

Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe also failed to specify what the agreement was while also being vague about what the issue was with the stock pair of red gloves the commission deemed acceptable."

Cormega this is the only info I could find online aside from Steve Kim's tweet.

Maidana did have a choice and Mayweather being the A side took advantage and took away that choice. Stop acting like Floyd is the NSAC cuz you know he's not, but since he is the A side fighter, he takes full advantage by putting up demands at the last minute, he shouldn't be taking advantage like that taking away his opponents strengths he's a sneaky sob. Like telling LeBron to wear boots at a game. ***** move indeed and thats sugarcoating it.
