I saw it recently and was disgusted by Page's antics. It was not amusing but classless. LeDoux was always a warrior and to see an under achieving tub of flab like Page dock him so openly was pathetic. I'll leave it at that but feel like writing more.
I always hated Page, the guy was dumb, flabby, and acted like a piece of **** the way he did Ledoux:deal,... **** HIM... Karma took care of his ass...
I have to admit that when I think of Page AND Ali, the verse, "He who exalts himself shall be humbled" comes to mind. Still sad to see, though.
Too many mismatches put LeDoux in an early grave. I think a better manager would have pretend these types of fights for him
Scotty died at 62 having struggled gamely with Lou Gerig's disease the last three years of his life. Man I miss Scotty, just a great, tough, soft hearted guy. I had always wished he had been born with just a little more talent boxing wise to go with his toughness but he still did boxing proud.
Greg Page "the Louisville Rage" was trying and was encourage to fill shoes he could never hope to fill. In trying to be Ali he attempted to mimic the bravado and showboating without the skill, drive or charm. It is a sad story, someone should tell it to Adrien Broner.
Page was young and impressionable and trying to follow in Ali's footsteps. Ali humilated plenty of opponents. If you think Page deserved the fate he got based on LeDoux then i'd seriously question your mental faculties.
