Won't happen. Khan's team will stall for as long as possible to aim for the Mayweather payday. All other challenges out there could pretty much kill his chances at the payday for good. That said, Khan sure as hell won't rematch someone that knocked him out.

 

I dont see Khan sitting on the shelf till next May, he's already said he regrets not taking the Alexander fight.
Also I dont see why he wouldnt rematch Garcia, he was all over Garcia before getting caught with THAT shot, I know a couple of guys that hang out with him & he definately wants that rematch, Angel Garcia really got in his head and hurt his pride, he got quite a bit of abuse and was ridiculed a lot from within his own community after that fight.

If he seriously wanted the rematch he would campaigned for it the way he did for the Peterson rematch. Fact is, he only barked immediately after the fight knowing that both of them were obligated to fight Morales(who was the WBC mandatory) or drop the belt. After Garcia fought Morales no one heard a thing from Khan. In reality, there's no reason whatsoever for Garcia to turn down a major payday in a rematch, he was simply not pursued or offered anything. Khan went on to blame the weight and trainer as he previously did after Prescott beat him and moved on.

Khan is most likely sitting inactive till the Mayweather fight is signed. I'm expecting this fight to happen late this year, November-December. Already Mayweather is somehow promoting a fight with Khan with his "taunting tour" in Bolton. Another major hint came out that Mayweather might not fight in September due to his cuts not healing 100% by then which is perfect for Khan.

 

I would easily pay for that fight if it was headlining a card on its own. Sadly this will never happen. Khan is never going to rematch someone that knocked him out.

 

He campaigned for the Peterson rematch due to all the **** that went down in DC that night, from the man in the hat to the ref & Peterson failing a drug test.
He did as you said want ask for the Garcia rematch, but he's no longer in Garcias division so there's no point in calling him out, if & when Garcia moves up to 147 then we'll see how badly he wants a rematch.
As for the Mayweather fight it would make sense for it to be in the UK, Millenium Stadium with the roof closed in November/December?

 

khan has to fight Garcia or Porter in november to stake him claim for mayweather in May 2015. if he chooses not to then porter will get Mayweather in may 15 and Thurman gets his shot in September 15.
