Prime for prime who do you think would have won
Both great fighters, would be been a very good contest.
I reckon the first half would have been a brawl thenI reckon Froch would have fought similar to how he fought in the great performance he had against Arthur Abraham in the second half of the fight to win a close points decision.

why do you feel the need to post first time into every thread with some childish trolling agenda. Usually you are just anti white no matter how good the fighter is.. now you are pretending to be other posters.. yet your join date is march 2013 .. too obvious :patsch

I thought you were a total idiot, but at least we know you can use the copy and paste function as this is all you ever type.
Give me evidence of my trolling or anything else you accuse or shut up

11 of those 14 accounts join dates were in the first 3 months of this year. Bit of a coincidence seeing as though it's quite rare to see a new account on this british forum, most brit forum users have been here for years,

They all love Amir Khan and cry whenever anyone says a word about him
They all are anti white non stop, apart from a couple of fantasy ones to try and take people off the scent
They all are regularly on this forum,
They all talk the same.. in a childish trolling way
They all post on the same threads, and agree with each other a lot
They all have a big problem with me

it's way too obvious, you might as well admit it.. you are an extremely sad person, what the hell is wrong with you

No disrespect mate, but you obviously don't know a lot about Steve Collins. I mean you can't compare Arthur Abraham to Steve Collins. Collins was in a different league from Abraham and Froch would find that out.

Steve Collins beat better fighters than him because he was so well schooled. Collins had the lot, skills, toughness and a great chin, but his strength was his best asset. Steve could have fought at heavyweight he was that strong and he could generate power. Collins was good inside and he had the ability to cut the ring down and find anybody.

Only the masterful Mike McCallum (best of his era), super slick Reggie Johnson and the super skilled Sambu Kalambay beat Collins.

Froch doesn't have the ring wisdom to beat Collins and he cant adapt to different styles.
Froch is flawed he's got bad footwork and goes flatfooted, so he wouldn't stand with Collins and he wouldn't be able to mix it up with him either.
Collins would fight in a style designed to beat Froch and I guarantee you he would. Collins everyday of the week :deal

Strange how the not so shy Steve Collins has said Froch would have beat him as he was to strong and he would not have fancied the fight. Agree it would have been a ******* but with only 1 winner Carl Froch

I doubt that very much Moog, but if you have a link to prove it I would appreciate it.
Strength was Steve Collins best asset and he was so strong he could have fought at heavyweight (he did in the amateurs), so I don't believe for one minute he would have said Froch was stronger than him, but you can prove me otherwise.

I agree it would be a great fight, but Steve Collins is a far better schooled boxer, so there would only be one winner 'The Celtic Warrior'

A lot of fighters stay stuff like this - it's just Collins being humble (for once), you can't take it seriously.

As for this fight itself, it would be close and it's going the distance. I'd take Froch in a razor thin decision.

Collins all day, all night, all week, all month, all year, all decade, all century.

Froch is wide open for Steve's sneaky overhand counter right, which he landed so many times on McCallum, Reggie, Kalambay and Eubank (I), all fighters with defensive ability beyond Dirrell and Ward.

Collins arguably beat a peak Reggie and Kalambay in Italy! Back to back! Reggie Johnson was the slickest fighter I've ever seen back then, and Kalambay at that point was better than Mayweather today. Steve fought the unbelievable McCallum as a 16-fight substitute and had him running away in the last seven rounds (when he changed tactics)! Nobody did that to McCallum! He was 25, Froch hadn't even turned pro at that age! -Different kettle of fish.

    Collins, Collins, Collins.
