I see what you're saying, but Chavez almost killed Taylor in that fight. You could say Taylor outboxed him, but he took the worst beating of his life. I mean, if you watch that fight, it was ONE HELL of a beating Taylor took. Chavez was countering the **** outta him with some serious power shots. Taylor was throwing more punches, but a lot of them were flash and not much substance. You could say Taylor won the boxing match, but Chavez won the fight. How tough is Floyd? Remember, Floyd almost quit after he fought Cotto. And against Maidana, he didn't look too tough. It was the first time he was cut in his entire career.
Aaron Pryor would give him hell , Benitez would be interesting and Hearns would have a shot but Floyds defence is ridiculous. I think he is in the top 5 of all time greatest defensive fighters.
Floyd is favorite over any 130lbs in a 12 rds fight, bunch of guys at 147 would have been too big of a problem for Floyd
Manny The fab 4 Benitez is 50/50 Sweet pea Young Moseley Young oscar Winky Paul Williams Serg Manny Margarito 140 cotto
you Do know Meldrick Taylor was winning the fight right untill he got stoped right? Floyd skills are well above Meldrick, Floyd aint getting stopped by Chavez Sr... :bart Floyd would have UD chavez sr. any day and twice on sunday
Meldrick Taylor had offense and combos Floyd got put on ***** Street by D level bum chop chop Corley when he tried to go on offense
Fighters living today that would beat Void would be: Pac, Martinez at 154 or even 150, Golovkin at 154, Perhaps Maidana in a rematch if they can get gloves instead of pillows, have a neutral referee, judges, boxing commission, etc. Khan would have a chance also, believe it or not...............Perhaps Porter and Thurman?
There's lots of guys throughout history at 147 that would beat Mayweather. Many of them not close to being ATGs. Floyd's definitely a tougher matchup from 130-140.
