    Floyd said that ... so mandatory would do no good to a fight between two

    Pac is a boxer don't blame him for directions; BUT he says he wants the fight so the problem is not on this side of the coin

    i dont understand why idiots dont understand that fighter contractually obligated to showtime can't fight a guy who contractually obligated to a promoter who only fights hbo

    Mayweather never even used that excuse. Watch the damm interview. The networks aren't the problem and FLoyd knows it.

    He came out with every irrelevant excuse in the book to dodge Pac. Basically says he wont fight him because he brings nothing to the table, but Maidana and Khan does. :patsch

    This coward needs to be called out for the chicken chit he is.

    Pacquiao getting outboxed by Marquez, losing the decision to Bradley and then being KO'D by Marquez, hurt his earning potential.

    Mayweather is part of what keeps his name relevant after all that, to the casuals, who wrote him off after that string of bad fortune.

    When Manny was on top, the Mayweather rivalry, the possibility of a Mayweather fight and the drama around their inability to make a fight kept Manny's name buzzing amongst the casual fans. This helped meaningless PPV fights for both guys stay around 1 mil buys. For THAT they both owe the FANS a fight.

    But, Floyd doesn't owe Manny ****. He doesn't need Manny to keep boxing fans and casuals tuning in. He only needs Manny to round out his legacy, which will still go down as exemplary even w/o that fight. Manny, on the other hand, needs the money this fight would bring in. Without it, he might be fighting until he is 40. All the while, declining more and taking more risk of another brutal stoppage.

    get a grip on reality. mayweather talks nonsense when asked about the fight because he truly believes he is the A side, FACT, and manny brings nothing to the table, FACT.

    floyds not getting some big pay increase by fighting paq but paq is getting a 1000% increase. how is that fair to anyone ?
