Past prime Holyfield gave Lewis all he could handle. Prime Joe Louis knocks Lennox out.

Two of the greats for sure here. We all know styles make fights. I can't envision a fight between these two where Louis doesn't stop Lewis. Lennox was fairly easy to hit and was hit and taken out by much slower and less powerful men than Joe Louis. Louis was a master at bringing you right into his perfect punching range and then devastating you! For those of you claiming this man couldn't punch I implore you to look again. Joe Louis had frightening power, threw lethal combinations and when going for the kill very fast hands. Louis displayed perfect punch placement, he simply broke you down. I'm not sure how far this one goes but Louis will for sure win it and by a knockout.

Only if boxers are on the same level skill wise.

Naturally, Lewis - being a champion of the 90s, is about 6 decades ahead of Louis. Styles don't matter here because the discrepancy in skill is just too large for Louis to overcome. Lewis by brutal mismatch KO. Early, too, not more than 2-3 rounds.

Explain to me exxactly how Lewis was more skilled than Louis.

What exactly could he do that Louis couldn't?

Actually if the scoring would have been accurate you would have had a 9-3 decision in the first fight and a 8-4 or 7-5 decision in the second fight. Making this at worst a 16-8 rounds win for Lewis. So how does that translate into all that he could handle?
