3 after Ali and Lennox easily. He can't pass those two as he doesn't have a Frazier/Foreman and Fields/Tyson.

That more or less means he was at or near the top of the division for around 20 years and broke most of the records. Insane.

You could rank him as high as #3 then.

imo he would be even higher than lewis.

and i really think this will probably happen. he will then have cleaned out almost 3 generations of top ten. have almost 70 wins with close to 60 ko's. more than 20 consecutives defenses and more than 25 title fight wins. this would be top 3 all time for sure

    Ha! Higher than Lewis?

Lewis's 1 win vs Vitali trumps Wlad's entire resume.

He can't pass Lennox. Lennox has wins over 3 atg's and a ton of very solid fighters. You could argue he has more quality wins than Ali or any other fighter in history.

Prime Klit would have walked through Lewis.

And I'm talking about the one that Corrie Sanders walked through.

That style was all wrong for Lewis.

Wlad would have been too fast, or too powerful for Lewis.

If Hasim Rahman could dispose of Lewis, than so could have Wlad. That's obviously the reason Lewis ducked him in the first place.

Wlad was in his physical prime at that moment, and also an aggressive offensive fighter.

    lennox best 5 wins:
    1. vitali
    2. holyfield
    3. bruno
    4. ruddock
    5. mercer

    wladimir:
    1. haye
    2. povetkin
    3. byrd 2
    4. peter 1
    5. ibragimov

lennox looks better thats true, but if wlad beats pulev, stiverne/arreola, wilder, fury then he will have more quality wins for sure imo

Wlad with his egg chin would have been knocked out in 1 round vs Lewis, even the fat one that owned Vitali.

Lewis wasn't fat. A poster here once stated that Lewis set personal running and weight lifting records in his training camp for that fight. I can't confirm the veracity of that, but I guess it wouldn't veer to far from the truth considering that the extra size Lewis gained was that of muscle, and not fat. The exceptional muscle tone in his arms and back can attest to this.

Lewis also has what you would consider an 'eggshell chin' that was cracked by both Rahman, and McCall.

The only legitimate knockout on Wlad's record came from Sanders, and he hit harder, and faster than Lewis, or anyone on his resume.

Any version of Wlad decimates Lewis.

I can't say he's the greatest of all time but he would beat most rated higher than him, making him somewhat underrated. His opponents are vastly underrated in my opinion. Scrutinizing previous eras of heavyweights as closely as the current field of heavyweights is scrutininzed things start looking quite a bit different. I rate him behind Lewis and Ali.
