Haha...but, "rumors" of 600k buys was good for Pac vs Bradley 2? If Showtime/CBS is in danger of financial ruin based on these "rumored" fight turnouts, they should be smart enough to cut their losses, sooner rather than later. Somehow, I doubt that is the case.

good numbers, but mayweather getting 40 million and the high priced undercard = bad business for whoever put together this pay-per-view

That is what Arum said. Again..."rumored", and probably inflated.

While those aren't bad, they are not exceptional and neither is 850k rumored buys for Floyd's. Both have done much better and underscores the fans (especially the Mexican fans) will support the most hyped "mega fights" in droves. See numbers for Mayweather vs Canelo and Mayweather vs De La Hoya.

But, sometimes the most interesting fights wind up having the lowest numbers. See Pac vs Bradley 2 and Mayweather vs Maidana. Again, none of the numbers are final though.

Wasn't there another ******* post which contradicts this. Basically, the undercard was paid nothing compared to Pac fights. So how can it be expensive when they're getting paid nothing? Get your stories straight *******s!

    :deal

Pacquiao with a crap undercard, NOT fighting on CINCO DE MAYO & got KO'd 2 years ago.

Still great PPV numbers for Pacquiao-Bradley 2= 775,000 PPV BUYS.

    1) Those are Bob numbers which means he stretched them a bit.
    2) Floyd's undercard went from crappy (pre-fight) to great (post-fight) to support the hater argument.
    3) Maidana isn't Mexican! That's like saying all Asians are the same. He doesn't give an F about May 5.
    4) Floyd still got paid more than Pac. His PPV did more than Pac. He's still undefeated.

It will be official and by HBO, Hope the Mayweather-Maidana ppv numbers flops, 800 k

Mayweather needs to get at least 1.5 million to justify the $32 million guarantee that Showtime is giving him as a minimum for each of those six fights in the contract. :deal

    OUCH! Hope it flops!

Ah well he claims himself as the TBE and PPV KING

    - STACKED UNDERCARDS.
    - FIGHTS ON CINCO DE MAYO.

This fight against Maidana will do around 800 k ppvs.

Hope it flops. Typical *******. I hoped Bradley-Pac 2 did great numbers but yet pbf fans are the worst fans in boxing??? Bad ppv numbers arent good for the sport ******* but your hate for pbf prevents you from seeing this.

Hope it flops so that the mayweather-pacquiao fight happens, pacquiao is the 2nd best boxing ppv star.

Mayweather just doesn't want to admit this.
