Really enjoyed the videos. They point to possible opportunities for Manny, no doubt. Could you envisage Manny using angles and flurries of shots, being in and then out against Floyd?

I rate both fighters very highly, and I have no axe to grind, but I can see how Pacquiao could potentially be effective fighting this way, because Floyd doesn't like to go punch for punch; he's more of a pot shotter.

This match should be made; it's still the one that the fans want to see.

I've already seen some topics about Mayweather-Hopkins.

I mean, how much of an obesession do you have with Mayweather that you want to see him fighting a guy who is 3 weightclasses higher than Mayweather is?

I've never seen topics about Gaynaddy Golovkin-(insert Heavyweight)
or any topic about Pacquiao-Chavez. Jr/Ward/Etc

It's just so ridiculous, man. Stop the hate and accept that Mayweather is a Welterweight and at his highest point a jr. Middleweight(not even a natural jr. middleweight since he comes in as a welterweight in his jr. middleweight fights).

I think that nobody will disagree with your statement, but you have to realize that there is a fine line between critism and hatred. If someone mentions fighting a guy 3 weightclasses above him, you can be 100% sure that ''fan'' is a hater. Period.

Why do I never see someone saying GGG vs Wladmir Klitschko or Pacquiao vs Ward?

Do people want him to lose certainly ..But are people in boxing are use to the best fighting the best. In combat sports no one wants to see mismatch after mismatch ..You want to see the top dogs face each other ..Name another fighter who hasn't got the same amount of criticism ? The only difference is today there are more outlets for people to express their opinions ..And this comes with fame and popularity ..

Another thing fighters have always been held to these standards..It's like that in all major sports ..The big lie in all this is that it's hate !


Some people go overboard but that again is a result of the outlets for people to say what they feel be it positive or negative .

I don't know of a community where it's all positive ,be it chat rooms ,MSG boards radio show where all of the fans are positive and always say great things about athletes no matter what their position is .

 

Him retiring undefeated is what everyone expects to happen .

" He will never lose " " No one will beat him " " He's gonna retire undefeated "

I just love that massive confidence that his fans has in him .

 

Floyds whole gimmick is to get people to hate him to buy his fights in the hope of seeing him lose yet his most fervent fans complain every day on here about said haters.
