Did that one judge have Marquez somehow winning on his combinations with that score? Or was it just an error.

It doesn't make sense with three knockdowns, but maybe I am missing something here

Harold Lederman gave a really weird excuse. He said something like 'some judges are hesitant to score it any wider than 10-7 because it puts one fighter into too much of a hole on the cards'. Yeaaahhhhh, okay.... if you don't want to lose points, then don't get knocked down.

Lederman said that in the Mayweather/Corrales fight, which occurred three years before the first Marquez/Pacquiao fight.

Maybe. I don't remember when he said it.

I just remember he said it.

Don't really buy the explanation though.

The fact that he said it 3 years before the Marquez/Pacquiao fight, at least shows that it's not something that he simply made up to defend the judge.

What's crazier is that it wasn't reversed/corrected after the fight! :nut

10-6 round means manny only needed 3 rds to win the fight. he won the 2nd, last and im sure from rds 3 - 11 manny also won some rounds.

I scored the round 10-6 and still had Marquez winning. A draw is fair though

And i had Marquez winning by a point.
Seems like a draw was the best result. I am happy they got a draw.

PAC punched Jmm while he was down. :-(

Judge did the right thing taking a point away but if it was me I would've taken 3 points
