You made a thread just to take up for floyd and say they both don't want the fight!!..Floyd is on record PLENTY of times saying he don't want the fight......and it's not up to him who he fight's it's up to AL Haymon!!! "Boxing don't work like that, it's not up to me" But you CAN'T SAY manny don't want to fight floyd he never said that!!

I agree with the OP. Pac takes his cues from Bap Arum. He takes no opportunities to pursue the Mayweather fight. And why wouldn't he be itching to redeem himself against Marquez (his true rival)? If Marquez has anything left, I'm not sure that will turn out well. Of course, "Mile High" will be a decent substitute, if he comes out on top. And that STILL leaves a Marquez rematch out there for next year. :tired

Pacquiao really has nothing to lose, if he gets beat by the winner of Marquez vs Alvarado, people will STILL be calling for the Mayweather fight...provided Manny looks good in a tuneup. Fans are just in love with the idea of this fight. It's a feather in Manny's cap and a thorn in Mayweather's side. :yep

I can see how this will go. Next year, no matter what happens with Manny, Arum will start talking loud in the media about a September fight with Floyd. Hopefully, Mayweather just drops his pride and obliges...again. :bart

How does anyone know what's going on behind the scenes? Pac has made it clear he wants the fight. Floyd has made it clear he doesn't want it.

Pac never talks about not fighting Floyd. While Floyd didn't even want to fight Pac when Pac was his mandatory.

    I disagree.

pac just had the chance to say he wanted Mayweather post fight interview with bradley 2 and what did he say??? "I fight who my promotoer wants"

    What does Arum want??

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum doesn’t want to stage a potential fifth fight between Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 KO’s) and Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1, 40 KO’s) in the United States. Instead, Arum wants to take the two fighters and bring them over to Macao, China, where they can dodge the taxes that they would be hit with for the loot they would make if the fight were to take place in America.

So how does Pac want the fight?? :patsch

here's another big problem and you just put it out there!

WBC said pac was the Mandatory and what does Manny do?? Doesd he invoke his mandatory status like Wilder is gonna do for Stiverne?? NOPE! He goes and fights bradley knowing that winning another title takes you off the WBC rankings!! So the WBC even tried to make the fight and Pac didnt push.

yes Mayweather said belts dont make me and he can come get it...But guess what?? Pac didnt try and go get it so mayweather is still champ. Pac had the chance to make mayweather look like a dumbA$$ and if he did what he said hes was gonna do and drop the belt, then Pac had the chance and didnt even try.

So again, How does Pac want the fight when hes doing these things or lack there of?

BOTH DONT WANT THE FIGHT PEOPLE, JUST DEAL WITH IT! :deal

what do you think he ment by that? he clearly means pac is past his best and he wont get the credit he deserves if he beats him. remember when both fighters were in there prime is when pac walked, so dont talk like floyd is ducking this past prime pac thats been outboxed and knocked out after floyd chased the prime pac and watched him run from testing

I agree bro. Floyd tried to make the fight when it matter most. Roach and Ariza both said they walked away and ducked the fight.

Mayweather is right, he wont get the credit he derserves. Plus trying to make something happen for 4+ years gets old quick.

I tried banging this chick for a 1+ and it got old. Now she wants the D but i got some fresh chicks around now, she played out. Kinda of the same thing.

or your job offers you a smoking deal/promotion and u turn it down but somehow u expect the same deal 4 years later?? UR NUTS!!!

    Nice Points bro :good

Pac needs to push for the damn fight and Mayweather needs to swallow some pride and just get it over with.

Both need to step it up but for pacquiao he needs to step it up more. Mayweather is fighting way better comp then Pacquiao is and thats the truth. mayweather is go where hes at, Pac is not.

yeah dude and it really pisses me off as a Pac fan.

Im sure Pac would fight Mayweather but Bob makes his fights and bob wants JMM in China! so bascially pacquiao will not fight or even try to fight Mayweather this year, sucks for all boxing fans.

People truly need to understand that both are not trying to make the fight so we just need to leave it alone. I only made the thread because everybody says Mayweather is ducking but pacquiao doesnt want it either so lets just say they both are going there separate ways.

for me Floyd is the one ducking... any real man would know when a man is afraid of fighting another guy.
