Somewhere around 65/35 or even possibly 70/30 with Oscar's gauranteed take of $25-million turning into $52-million after the fight's PPV #'s hit an all out 2.4 miilion buys while Floyd's gauranteed take of $10-million went from that to a full take home purse of $25-million. That fight as well as Mayweather-Canelo would definitely be the major barometer in negotiations for a fight between Mayweather vs Pacquaio and Pac's promoter Bob Arum knows this.

 

60-40 mayweather is basically minimum purse split. pac May have to give a little bit more as floyd knows he holds the cards.

location: is a no brainer - mgm grand, best reputation and have held the biggest fights

testing: is no issue was resolved after the rios fight when manny displayed he has no problems with it

Because Pacquiao would still make a higher % compared to facing another opponent than Mayweather would for fighting someone else.

If both guys face Mzonke Fana and Cassius Baloyi in their next fights, Mayweather makes 32 M while Pacquiao would make probably 5 M.

Therefore, in order to give the fighters what they deserve, you'd need to give both of them more than alternative options for opponents other than one another.

Both Mayweather and Pacquiao would want career high paydays.

If it's 50 million, then is it worth fighting Pacquiao for 50 million when he made more than that for his fight against Alvarez last year?
