As much as I detest Wlad's fighting style at times

Khan's way of fighting is far worse, here's why.

Khan and Wlad can't fight inside at all. If they could they'd be complete fighters.

One uses quick combos and grabs your head and holds you down, and the other will jab and grab your neck and even throw you down.

Khan lacks commitment with his jab so he either covers up when attacked instead of countering or parrying with shots or looks to grab you and even hold you down while attacked or attacking. He does this and is not even in trouble.

With that said, at least Wlad gets the ko.

Both styles are ugly to watch, but I prefer watching Wlad after Khan's performance against Collazo.

at least wlad has power and wlads chin is severely underrated in the heavyweight division a big shot buckles anyone some more then others thoe...

 

If you got no head movement, no real speed, and/or have a tall/thin body frame - what other style can you use?

Lennox Lewis fought a lot like this too.

 

Lennox could fight inside.

 

Wlad still has the same chin, it's just that his comp is lacking true skill to test that chin again at the moment.

 

Comparing Khan to Klitchsko, ones a Great others a Exciting fighter....

Gomez, Limond, Maidana, Peterson, Garcia, Diaz... yep boring fights.

Also Khan showed inside game vs Callazo at one point he had his head on callazo's chest, also he pushes peoples head down half the time ebcause fighters rush with there head against fast fighters so they can smother the fast fighters work.

 

Khan has never shown an inside game ever.

In fairness to Khan, he's fighting much much higher caliber opposition than Wlad fights.

 

Oh please, I'd rather see Khan fight a billion times more than Wladimir.

Khan is also fighting in venues that are not partial to the interests of his nationality.

 

I was disappointed with how Khan fought to be honest. It was really ugly and boring

 

Rewatch the 10th round vs Collazo, he spends a good 20-30 seconds on the inside which led to the body shot that dropped Collazo.

He'll never be an inside style fighter it's ridiculous for people to expect him to fight that way with his chin.

He can't seem to win, he trades, getting dropped and KO'ed in exciting fights and people criticise him for his poor defence. He improves his defence, learning to clinch on the inside as he isn't suited to that style and he gets accused of being more boring than Wlad.

I like to point out his flaws and criticise Khan more than most but when people are looking for things to criticse and ignoring the improvements it's just becomes blind hate.

Both have fought very good comp during their careers, stop it. Khan has not fought the comp Wlad has fought.

Now if you're talking recent opposition, then you do that, keep talking about recent opposition.
