I actually dont think there should be any split. I think Pac should recieve a flat fee of 40 million. Thats still a good price, especially today where he's walking away with 20 million dollar paydays.

Floyd made 81 miillion for Canelo, he's not gonna take less than that for Pac. He's making money without Pacquiao.

40 mil guarantee for Pacquiao, plus his promoters fee (if he self promotes) Pac should be walking away with 45 mil.

The rest should be for Floyd. he's the draw, and would walk away with 100 million +. When you consider the PPV, the live gate, the closed circuit, the movie theater. etc.

Pac is an established PPV star even if his numbers have been less than great.

25 isnt enough. He should be walking away with 40+. Somewhere between 40-45 million.

It's that kind of attitude that has left us in this position where we are supposed to be content with Mayweather fighting limited boxers with pillows on their fists. The fans need to be angry and vote with their feet if they serve us up more of this ****.

That's nonsense, you're acting as if Pac has barely any fans who will buy the ppv. That is clearly wrong when you consider Mayweather's stacked card had similar numbers to Pac's last fight; Bradley isn't a ppv star and the undercard was awful so all those buys were Pac fans.

Manny has said MANY times he wants to give the fans what they want to see and he cant force Floyd to fight him .

"You know, here's the thing: I'm tired of answering a lot of questions of the fans," said Pacquiao, on the heels of accusing Mayweather of having "many alibis" for not fighting him during a Wednesday studio interview with ESPN's Keith Olbermann. "You know, I want to. I want that fight to happen because that's what the fans want. But the problem is, it's up to him. All that I can say is…"
With that, Pacquiao reached beneath the desk at which he sat, pulled out a rotary phone and placed it on the surface before him, all to the delight of a cheering audience.
"My line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Any time he can call me and say, 'Yes, I will fight,' and then the fight will be on," said Pacquiao. "It's a collect call. He don't need to pay. He can call me any time and then say 'Yes,' and then the fight will be on."

No one can argue that Floyd isn't a A side. He has almost every PPV record, and did 2.2 MILLION with Canelo. That's not even debatable anymore.

Actually, its been confirmed that the 854k was a rumor. SHO Head Espinoza said that. And I've yet to see that 700k to 800k number confirmed either from HBO

With that being said. 45 million is still Pacquiao's biggest payday, while an 80 million dollar Payday wouldn't be Floyd's biggest. You got to think about that.

And no one is saying that Pac doesnt have fans. The topic is from a negotiating standpoint, how should it happen.

What you think Floyd is gonna take home 60 mill for fighting Pacquiao? When he already took 80 vs Canelo? Floyd's gonna want a huge payday, a career high payday.

45 mil is a career high for Pac.

Is it wrong to say "Maybe Pac should call him, since Pacquiao is the challenger, and Pac is the one being given the shot?" Is that wrong?

You said "Floyd is the draw" which is utter tripe. Manny has a huge amount of fans, I'd wager more than Mayweather.

Probably, but do those fans pay to see him fight? Apparently not. His numbers say no.

Floyd haters, Floyd Supports Who both buy the fight > Manny Pacquiao fans.

We'll see when (if) the ppv numbers for Floyd's are ever published, the numbers that seem to be leaking suggest that you are talking tripe again. You talk about the Canelo fight but I bet if Canelo had fought Pac instead the numbers would have been similar, Mayweather relies on the Mexican public.

"HBO PPV did not put out a formal release of the numbers like it often does, but it confirmed to ESPN.com that Arum's disclosure was on the mark. The fight generated approximately $49 million in gross pay-per-view revenue."

That will be the biggest obstacle in regard to negotiating a split. Manny is going to have to accept the smaller percentage based on that number and the Rios number. 50/50 isn't happening. It's going to be between 60-40 and 65-35 IMO if Manny left Arum and this fight magically transpired.

Maidana vs Floyd really wasn't that good of a fight. It was like an illusion, people were caught up in the fact that it was competitive at the time.

If you watch the fight right now its a good fight but its not really that great. I don't want to see a rematch at all. IMO it was perfectly clear to see floyd won 8-4, Maidana can't do anything to change that.

There has to be a split. They would make an insane amount of money off PPV
