opinions on this.personally i think its weak.if wilder wanted a belt so bad why would he even consider stepping aside for money? i want to see the best fight the best for once in this division not wlad fighting people who have no right being in there.i am undecided on wilder as yet i think he could knock anyone out but who knows when someone fights back? fury is fun to watch but wide open to a big shot chisora is overated as is stiverne.pulev will not beat wlad his style is made for wlad in my opinion.who has a shot at giving wlad a decent fight?
i think Fury and Pulev can give Wlad a good fight the likes of Wilder,Stiverne,Price, Chisora, Perez all have at best a punchers chance if moved quick enough i could see Joshua causing Wlad a lot of problems as his a very good fighter also if Usyk moves up to heavy his got the attributes to cause a lot of problems
the fact that TIMBER Fury even gets a mention in fighting a Klit just shows how dismal the Monsterweight of Giants really is... it's _ucken rediculously pathetic. what a shame the Prize Division and boxing in general is in such a mess. Sure there are some good/excellent fighters out there, but not among the HW's/S-HWs. Timber's first Big Opponent that is able to reach him Fells him like an Oregon Log Roller. the whole business is pure insulting! and your right will we EVER see "the Best" fight each other ever again, in ALL divisions and on regular bases, including Proper Top Contenders fighting each other for the Right in the first place!!! the sooner Fury and others disappear the better!!!
The thing about Tyson Fury is he has height can be rough and could cause Wladamir problems but if he gets tagged it would be all over.
the heavyweight division has only been a shambles since Americans have stopped having success in it. When the Klitschkos became completely dominent its only made it worse in some poeples eyes. Lewis, Holmes, Tyson were all dominent to but the division wasnt considered a shambles because the belts were in America
The problem with the heavyweight division is that there is only 1 great heavyweight, Klitschko, who is superior. He is the only one on top at the moment. Behind him it's an open division, with guys like Pulev/Stiverne/Fury and Wilder. The difference between 'all the others' is not that big. I like the division, not because it's good, but it's competitive. There are lots of young stars coming up in the USA and Europe. Now with Stiverne as 'paper' champion, the American heavyweight are in scope again. When Klitschko is retired, there's an open division. And the Arreola-Stiverne match was more entertaining then all Klitschko matches combined I've seen in the last 3 years. Also Mansour-Cunningham was a very good match. I always compare the heavyweight division with my countries Soccer Division (Eredivisie). I like it, not because it's good, but it's competitive.
I agree it could really open up when Wladamir retires meanwhile I think there is going to be some good WBC fights.
i would agree with most of whats been said.i think a good pressure fighter with punching power could upset wlad but who? fury is wide open and wlad would finish him if he fought his usual way.stiverne and chisora are overated and wilder is unproven to me.pulev looks half decent but his style is made for wlad.i would say wlad stops him in 6-8 rounds tbh.its sad that no one can see a genuine threat to a 38 year old champion.:ass
i just think fury's height and reach would cause a little more problems for wlad than chis and stiverne, chisora would do better than stiverne. because fury is actually pretty quick and puts nice combos together when he wants.
he would get hit and probably get ko'd but i have a theory. tyson hasnt fought anyone near his size yet, its the overhand right coming from a shortass that manages to catch him, that shot would catch any big heavyweight by suprise. when hes actually looking at a bloke eye to eye and watching wlad predictable 1-2's i think he will defend it better. lennox lewis feasted on big men like mcvities ginger cake.
