That's how it's always been.. One person may dictate ring size and stricter drug test (even though that's a good thing for everyone in the sport) because they are the 'king'.. That's how it was before Floyd and that's how it's going to be after him.. It's not fair that some sports teams have more money than others to spend on players, thus having the better team but that's just how it is...

Then you don't get what being a fan is.. Unless you think someone's life is getting extremely affected over what someone says about an athlete, then I think you're going overboard and that's not really the case.. I love basketball and from Chicago so I defend the Bulls like their my team.. I follow everything that goes on with the team and will get into heated debates with fans of other teams.. That's just what being a 'die-hard fan' is about...

  3. Being a fan means being a fan. What we have on forums is borderline homoeroticism.

My favourite fighters... Thurman, cotto, Danny garcia, ward. I enjoy watching them fight but I won't get all butt hurt over some guy on the Internet calling them bums or ***gots or whatever. I don't give a fu.ck and I don't think they would either.

Guys on here go out of their ways to defend their man crushes

It's in your head bro.. What's stupid is that someone thinks a man is s.exually attracted to their favorite athlete because they want to defend said athlete's abilities.. You call it crying or getting 'butt hurt', I call it debating and being a fan like a grown man would...

hatton's a poor example, he also was an undefeated world champ with a massive fanbase.

Save your efforts around here bro as most just crap on Money. You are forced to pick PAC or Floyd.:-(

I happen to like and support both so just waiting on a brand to be placed on us true fans of the sport:lol:

Well that's not how it's always been. When Duran fought Barkley for example, it was at 160lb the weight limit, and in fact it was Duran who came in at 154, but he didn't care who weighed more, he just wanted the fight. That was the way it use to be, until SRL got involved. But just to be clear, I don't mind the champion having some flexibility to dictate terms, because he's the man on the top, but people fighting for HIS title absolutely shouldn't be allowed to and Floyd does this way too often, and if you think it's always been that way, you just don't know boxing, because it hasn't been. More often than not, the ring size was standard, the gloves were standard, and the weight classes were standard.

What once it's way too much? Canelo said he'll fight at 150 but they agreed on 152.. For the most part, everyone thought it should have been at 154 but whatever.. Can't change the past now.. I thought that was the only fight where Floyd fought at a cw for a belt...

Oh I get you now.. That's just people being stupid on the internet.. These clowns probably don't even say or believe the things they type because no one know who they are and can disappear at any time.. I was thinking you meant face to face as well as internet talk.. I sometimes entertain myself trying to make a troll sound as stupid as possible, but that's about it.. Everything else is fan talk...

The funny thing if Maidana's hands were raised they wouldn't be complaining about the gloves. :conf

ANYONE with half that resume would be one of the best atg fighters by all the clowns on the net
