Lets be honest he was fast tracked to world level he would still be fighting low level level fighters if he fought every half decent brit fighter

hes since beat Kotelnik a decent gate keeper, Paulie who until recently only gets beat by the best, Maidana who has just given the best in the world a real hard tuff scrap and Judah coming off 2 decent wins.

He's also faced Garcia who is one of the best at 140 and Cheaterson who was in the world title mix

Brook has fough Carson Jones and Matthew Hatton and a fighter who was stopped and outclassed by Paulie and was being beaten on the cards by a shot to **** Ricky Hatton.

You can bash Khan for many things but he has been in with several very good world class fighters. Brook has of yet hasn't been in with anyone who will do anything at world level.

Lucky for Khan that he was managed well and fast tracked to the big fights. Saying that, as much as you dislike Khan, he would have beaten both. Khan has progressed to a much higher level now.

They simply weren't good enough, but don't let that get in the way of some people trying to hate on Khan

Some people just have no idea how boxing works.

So your telling me he should of not take a fast track to the world title so he could fight for peanuts for the British title?

Its not a simple case of oh i want to fight him right lets make it happen on this date. There is alot of politics involved and thaxton and murray would of both not wanted it trust me

I'm sure Ashish would rather fight for the British title than the World. At the end of the day, if Kell or any boxer for that matter nowadays, would have done exactly what Khan did. Was Khan fortunate to get the opportunity.

Khan moved up as high as he could, as quick as he could.
Theres nothing wrong with that, but it does mean that some good fights don't get made.
Thaxton and Murray would both have fallen short I believe but Thaxton was always a good watch and I doubt he would have turned the fight down.

At the time these guys might if had a slight argument but all these years later to see what khan has achieved and where these guys still are now frankly it's quite embarrassing I feel quite sorry for them :good

Both have valid points. It is a shame the fights weren't made but that's the nature of the Boxing business nowadays. Get to where you can with the minimum of risk and make the most money.

Murray is not a risk for Khan lol.

The guy has just beaten Collazo not to mention the likes of Maidana and Judah imagine Murray or Thaxton againts them two.
