Don't know where Marquez stands in all of this...want him to go up against some of the younger guys but he seems reluctant. Showed he still has a **** tonne of talent against Bradley.

Beating Collazo doesn't boost you higher than either of them. Maidana would fck Khan up in a rematch at 147. Khan is very well capable of taking the position you state...but he needs to earn it...JUST LIKE THURMAN who is hyped higher than EVERYONE atm.

 

Like you said in the second paragraph, wear and tear will affect khan, he has had tough fights vs Limond, Gomez, Prescott, Maidana, Peterson, Garcia, Diaz.

Also in the diaz fight he never got caught really, he went over in the forth due to balance issues, even a slap in that position would have put him over and he wasn't really hurt, his legs were there his eyes looked clear.

Athletes that tend to rely on just physical gifts rather than technique peek around mid 20's.

 

Someone needs to get virgil and khan in the same room and force them to do body work at gunpoint.

Khan would have stopped collazo had he not headhunted.

 

I'll make it simple

suspect chin + going to the body = Exposed for counter over the top, Meaning he has to pick his times for Body punches, thats when he can surprise his opponents, Sure he could have stopped callazo, but would have made it more risky if he kept going to the body - lets not ignore the fact Callazo is a tough tough fighter

 

His body punching is underrated.

 

Khan is a Glass Jawed fighter who is feather fisted. Most of his "KO's" were British stoppages against the ropes and we all know how pitiful those are.

 

Khan has Pop, good pop in his punches

Khan dropped Maidana with a body shot.

If he sits down on his punches, he can deliver powerful blows, but he is not a one punch KO artist.

 

khan has a nice rigth hand that can sting the opponent

but his main shot is the left hook to the body which he under uses but it is his most powerful shot he can produce

 

Khan is a joke and he was super lucky that Cortez was holding him up in the Maidana fight or he would have been out.

Khan is so so over rated I wish he would fight Maidana again not even Cortez will be able to save hime next time.

 

People say he's feather-fisted but far from it.

He's got decent pop behind his punches, not one punch KO power but he's got decent pop that's helped by his speed. He's a good punched. Not one punch KO but far from being feather-fisted. I'd rate his power 7/10
