Exactly why do people call Wilder a 'fraud'?

Yes he fights tomato cans but that alone doesn't make him a fraud IMO. A fraud tells people he's something and then he doesn't live up to his promises.

Did Wilder ever run his mouth saying he's a world beater?

Because the guy has a title shot without fighting anyone in the top 30 in the world, how much more fraudulent do you get ?

He does not deserve a title shot, even you fan boys must admit that how do you get ranked top 10 without fighting a top 30 fighter. HE IS A FRAUD he should have to do what every other fighter has done earn your shot.

I loved Wilders "Stiverne hasn't done anything to deserve a title shot" news last week. The irony still kills me.

WBC say today on Fightnews that Wilder is definitely then next for Stiverne...so we'll see soon what Wilders got when hes up against a banger who can take a decent shot. This could go like Wilders previous 31 and be over quick...but it could easily be him being counted out to! Games almost up for Wilder...time to show if your the real deal or not! Hype train comes grinding to a halt soon! At last......

Actually padding his record DOES make him a fraud. He is the most coddled fighter today other than maybe David Price and Amir Khan. All 3 share something in common. This has been going on for ages it is nothing new in Boxing. We have all seen this before.

I have nothing against Wilder personally he seems very likeable.

So Wilder should ignore his management and fight the toughest fighters out there at such a young age with something like a 19-12 record, hurt and worn from hard fights before any title shot just to please a few angry keyboard warriors who talk about glass jaws like as if it is their profession?

I think Wilder and his camp have shown more intelligence towards building his career than the nonsense alternatives that people on this forum are implicating.

You think Scott was the first one to take a dive against him?

    Think again.

Wilder isn't that young. In less than 18-months he'll turn 30.
Wilder is older now than Wlad was when he last lost a fight (Brewster I).

Is Lomachenko a fraud also? Was he entitled to a title shot in his second fight? If Wilder is a fraud, let him be exposed. He can't possibly be worse than that last mandatory that Wlad faced.

He is an American HW that has some hype surrounding him. People enjoy hating more than anything it seems.

I don't call him a fraud, but he is being set up for failure big time. He has been put in with opposition so bad that he can rely on that ONE haymaker he has. As soon as someone starts circling him and removing that, he won't have an answer and get blown out. He has shown no improvement at all.
