Marquez is loads better, but he's so old now. Unlike Hopkins or Floyd, he's been in serious wars and taken beating. It's gonna catch up with him

 

I actually think JMM vs Alvarado will be a great fight, possible fight of the year.

 

Alvarado is going to get his ass handed to him.

 

Alvardo I think will win. Has height & reach advantage & decent boxing. If JMM plans to counter all night then he will have a bad night.

 

Marquez can grow old have his chin cracked to pieces and still beat mike it's all about levels

Alvarado does have some advantages(youth, size)and Marquez is not getting any younger. This will be a tough fight for JMM. IN regards to the Hopkins comparison, Marquez fights nothing like hops. He depends more on his
timing and reflexes and deterioration can start showing anytime now. Time waits for noone! Still leaning towards Marquez in a close decision!

Good post, but you can be certain that Alvarado has signed the necessary non-discloure agreement or he wouldnt be getting this payday fight.

Roidquez will be loaded to the gills on fightnight, and so long as his muscles don't tear thru his skin, he's gonna be stronger than he was when he was 25.

Alvarado comes in without the jab far to often and than Counter R hand will be landing at will and with insane roidpower.

Alvardo is defo granite though, and bigger.....but those shots are gonna score well with the judges, whereas MA is gonna have a tough time getting paid off judges to score him the fight where most of his best work is gonna be on the arms and chest and gloves of Roidquez.:think

 

If Marquez cannot stop Alvarado i see him losing a decision, because Alvarado throws lots of punches and Marquez needs to be busy or else he will complain how he lost another fight due to not throwing enough punches. Marquez isn't aggressive like Rios or Ruslan and Alvarado won't have to exert much energy fighting the counter-punching Marquez.
