Obviously if Bradley turned down Khan to fight Pac it would be the right thing to do but Pac vs Bradley wasn't even mentioned when the Khan vs Bradley fight was meant to happen. Bradley rejected $1.3m to fight Khan in July 2011, He fought Pac in June 2012.
just before Khan was to fight Maidana, Bradley and his father were calling Amir a ***** that would be knocked out if he got in the ring with Bradley. Khan heard this, so said that he'd have talks with Bradley after he's finished with Maidana, but was focused on Marcos, and only Marcos. after the fight though, Bradley had a complete change of heart. he was all praise for Amir. he said that he never knew Khan was that good. the duck had started for Bradley. Khan, even though he was the money man, offered 50/50 split to see who was the Lineal champ at 140. but Bradley, ever the plastic tough guy when flapping his gums far away from Amir, started to make his excuses when the fight was in front of him. he bitched out and took on a shot to **** former Superfeather in Casamayor instead without him proving who was top dog at 140 like a big mouth princess who had his taunts answered. this is one of the most pathetic and embarrassing ducks you'll ever see in your life. shouting your mouth off only to back down like a punk when the guy you're bad mouthing comes along and offers the best contract you could ask for. shameful! never forget. Khan would have beat him down like a dog for twelve rounds. easy work. even Bradly knew he couldn't win. in an interview he said he didn't fight Khan because he wasn't confident of getting the win. this is the guy that he and his father were calling a *****. LOL. you couldn't make this **** up.
oh, and there's a big difference between the Khan/Bradly and the Khan/Alexander fights. Khan/Bradley was for the Lineal at 140 and SHOULD have happened. it was demanded. whereas the Khan/Alexander fight was nothing other than an option at 147. a fight that no one was calling for. a fight that had lots of problems due to Alexander and his trainer Cunningham making crazy excuses and causing problems from the get go. when the Floyd fight seemed a possibility, it was obvious that Khan was going to take the dangerous fight with the bigger purse. that's just common sense.
Context is everything It is irrefutable and undeniable that Bradley not only ducked Khan but avoided him. I remember ESB & NSB during them months after the Bradley Alexander stinker fight then Bradley not accepting the Khan fight...everyone was pissed at him lol! People seem to forget Bradley missed the mid part of 2011 ducking Khan. Leaving Khan with PEDerson. Bradley then fought at the end of the year against Casamayor after switching to Top Rank. Why the **** would Bradley not unify 140...it was the most logical fight... Khan then offered the fight to him AGAIN at the end of 2011...by this time Bradley had his cover story fighting Casamayor on his way to fighting Pacquiao with Top Rank.
Different timeframes and totally different situations. Khan 'ducked' Alexander with Mayweather in mind But Bradley didn't 'duck' Khan with Pacquiao in mind...the situation & circumstances were totally different.
It's not... but whatever you like. Not to infer that Khan had Bradley beat in any kind of way...but mentally Timothy didn't want Khan simple as that.
I don't remember much from Alexander it was all Khan saying that he's not fighting Mayweather and is still signed then pulling out at the last min saying your not gonna fight. I perfer the Alvarez route who decided to show his worth and fight/beat Trout instead of the Bradley/Kahn route of ducking out of fights hoping to land the big one Alexander was a title holder as well Alexander-Khan would have been for the IBF Belt and Khan knew if he took that fight Alexander would still be holding that belt today.
No difference is Bradley got the Pacquiao fight and Khan could not get the Mayweather fight and most likely never will.
