What am I missing here Stiverne didn't look all that impressive in his fight with Arreola so. I don't see how he walks through Wilder

Arreola is a mediocre club fighter at best, hopefully he retires now. Yep, I had my laugh because 90% of you guys thought Arreola would KO Stiverne the 2nd time around, and to paraphrase the thought process of those individuals 'Stiverne got lucky the first time around by breaking Arreola's nose.'

Arreola has hardly ever came into a fight in shape, he never won a fight that mattered, and has never merited any of the praise he has received.

Seriously who did Arreola ever beat? No one. His KO record comes from as big or bigger bums than Wilder's.... The fact that he lost to Stiverne not once but twice, a man who's biggest fight before Arreola was Ray Austin, should tell you a hell of a lot.

The one time Arreola stepped up in competition (two if you count Adamek) he got shut down in a major way.

Moving on, as I pointed out Stiverne's only fight to even talk about was Ray Austin, and that's only because Ray made it far enough to be knocked out by Wlad in 2 rounds. Except when Stiverne fought him he was 40, and it took Stiverne 10 rounds.... Further, Stiverne has already been KOed by a nobody, and again, as with Arreola, the KO record comes from just as big if not bigger bums as Wilder's.

So yeah Stiverne is OK at best. Arreola on the other hand is trash and has always walked around like a wannabe Tua, as far as a comparison to Firtha goes they are at minimum on the same level, however I am sure that Arreola would have lost to most of the guys Firtha lost to, and while we're ripping on Firtha at least he fought more relevant competitors...

    Fury beats Stiverne
    Chisora beats Stiverne
    Povetkin beats Stiverne
    Wlad beats Stiverne
    Wilder beats Stiverne
    Diving Scott beats Stiverne
    Haye beats Stiverne
    Jennings beats Stiverne
    Perez beats Stiverne
    Thompson beats Stiverne
    Pulev Beats Stiverne

They all beat Chris as well.

So now, and pay attention because this is where the logic comes in, you have Wilder Vs. Stiverne. Wilder is coming in as the guy who's "obviously going to lose and get exposed" according to most people here. SO again just like I knew that Stiverne was going to beat over-inflated Arreola (again), I know this time that Stiverne will get KOed just like the rest of Deontay's opponents. See it now?

I hope you're not serious...

    *EDIT*

Serious question, where is everyone coming up with this "Stivernes got an Iron Chin" deal?

Well if Wlad wants to fight Stiverne he's going to have to pay Stiverne and King enough to make it worth their while to pay off Wilder. Stiverne isn't a proven draw and Wlad doesn't really pay his opponents much unless they can draw or are a mandatory, so I expect Stiverne to face Wilder next.

I think Stiverne can beat Wilder if he doesn't get blown out early. He's got a decent chin having taken some good shots from Arreola. He's a decent counter puncher and he won't have to chase Wilder who will come to him.

I think it's better for Wlad if he faces Pulev next and lets whoever has the WBC belt go on a little run to build up a unification fight. If the winner of Stiverne/Wilder can beat another decent fighter say the winner of Fury/Chisora he'll become a much more marketable opponent and make it a much bigger and more lucrative fight. The biggest problem Wlad has is he's a big favourite over everyone he has no real opposition, simply beating the WBC champ early on will rob him off a much bigger fight later on.

Don King wants Wilder to fight another bum before fighting Stiverne, even says he will take Stiverne on a world tour, but when will Stiverne fight anyone? King will not allow him to fight a good fighter and Don King will do anything to keep Stiverne away from Vlad. Vlad beat Wilder from one side of the ring to the other, knocked him down with a jab, so yes, Vlad does want to fight Wilder, but want's Stiverne first. Wilder will not fight Vlad, he knows better and so does Don King.

Have you even watched that bullshiiite stoppage is worse than some of Calzaghe's stoppages

Stiverne has an Iron chin and will prove it when he KO's Wilder in 6 rounds or less

Man you are so wrong in many ways. Arreola a club fighter, the same level as Firtha? :patsch

He would beat the **** out of Wilder. Saying his boxing record is worse than Wilders is ridiculous. I give Mitchell, Molina and even Abell a good shot at beating Wilder. Wilder got dropped by Sconiers and Dustin Nichols, wobbled by a Firtha jab, this guy is a joke.

Wilders' best win is Malik Scott, who was paid to take a dive in their fight.

Wilder has 0% chance to beat Stiverne. He cannot deal with B-Ware's power and he won't take a dive neither.

Fury, Chisora, Scott, Jennings from your list will probably lose 9 times out of 10 against Stiverne.

A mediocre club fighter? Seriously? :blood
Looking at the fight, Arreola had the upper hand early on. Some Stiverne backers in the RbR were actually thinking that Chris would KO Bermane after round 3. So laughing at people who expected Arreola to stop Bermane this time out looks a bit odd to me with the circumstances of the fight.
Ther are a couple of proven names that I would actually favor to beat Stiverne, but for many on that list it certainly isn't a forgone conclusion and some will be the underdog going into the fight if it ever happens based on Bermane's chin and punching power.
    Thought it would never....
So because you were right in the Stiverne vs Arreola II bout (in wich Stiverne was the favorite), that automatically means you're also right about the Stiverne vs Wilder fight?
That's your logic part in this big post? :blood

It seems Wlad's next fight is either Stiverne (unlikely) or Pulev (most likely). If Wlad fights Pulev then he might get a crack at the winner of Stiverne - Wilder.

    What's not to like?

Step-aside money is paid to mandatory challengers. Throughout his career, Chisora has never been a mandatory challenger. If he wins vs. Fury he'll be one for the first time.
