Hello, This may seem like a stupid question to most of you, but I'm just really curious how much Anthony Joshua might get paid for fighting these journeymen as an Olympic medalist. This dude is really hyped up man! He's already more famous than most world champions (of the less popular weight classes etc) ... Does anyone have any information regarding his paydays as a young prospect ???
Audley Harrison had 1 million dollars in his pocket before his first pro fight. Joshua probably even more. Probably will not need to deal drugs anymore but still will, just because....
Somehow this doesn't surprise me. It also doesn't surprise me that people are going to come out in droves to defend his disreputable behaviors because of superficial motives.
The fact they have not discovered this thread yet is what suprises me. Eternal vigulence(sp) against waycism{sic} knows no respite.
I saw Camerelle beat the hell out of Joshua in the Olympics, but Camerelle was cheated..................
I know it's only weed but what were his motives? As far as I know, in 2011 when this happened he was in the GB squad which means he was on a salary with bonuses ranging from anything as low as £27k to £40k. That's a healthy salary for any young man. I'm glad to see he's packed all that nonsense in and I'm a massive fan. Hope to see him at Wembley for the Froch/Groves 2 fight
Not to mention how Golovkin and his brother used to pick random people out on the street and beat them up. But oh no, that just makes them "tough" apparently.
I thought the Brits had learned their lesson now by overpaying Olympic medalists after the Audley debacle. Certainly given the circumstances Joshua 'won' his gold.
I think it's good that winning the Olympics gives them a nice financial reward to go with the prestige.
