Apparently Maidana was in on this massive conspiracy, because I havent once heard him come out and say that he didnt weigh 161. Matthyse came out strong when he alledgedly weighed 164, and it turned out he was right. Maidana has accepted it.
Mayweather isn't even big for his weight. Madaina's wrists, stomach, thighs, and bone density could easily make him that much heavier. Weights are so subjective. Mayweather is very fine boned. Madaina isn't.
Maidana has been at WW for 5 fights now. They showed the fight night weights. They had Maidana at 165 and Mayweather at 148.

Don't believe any **** the Mayweather's say about Floyd's fight night weight. He doesn't give accurate weight so people would assume he's fighting big guys. When Floyd fought Oscar he was way bigger. I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd is weighing close to 160 against Maidana.
I am one of Pac's biggest fans. Floyd is a small welter. When I was fighting at 128 pounds I always looked about two weight classes above my opponents but I never cut weight. I remember a sparring session in college with a short guy in which he weighed 140 and I weighed 125 when I started, and the guy running it had a card with our names and weights, turned to him and said "125 soaking wet "... And I said no, I am the 125 pound guy. Some guys are not dense and he is one of them. I looked twenty pounds heavier than that dude.
