    You guys can't score for **** if you said that was 10 - 9 or 9 - 9. That was a 10 - 8.

    Not a 10-8 round.

Now that was an unexpected turn of events, although just for a moment.

Marquez won the rest of the round.
    10-8 or 10-9 Alvarado? :think I say 10-8

Woah. Alvarado's body language at the end of the 8th, I thought he wanted to quit. Never mind winning the 9th round 10-8

    That was definitely 10-8 Alvarado.

Marquez got the better of the exchanges in the rest of it, but they were competitive exchanges for the most part.

Marquez would have needed to dominate Alvarado every second except for the KD for it not to be 10-8. He only dominated for isolated little stretches.

Alvarado got knock down, JMM won rest of the round clearly, 10 9 Alvarado, you can score it 10 8 but no doubt it can be scored 10 9

Alvarado should've imposed his size and youth from the beginning.

    Round 10

Marquez is doubling his jab into Alvarado's face and catapulting in the right. Alvarado is circling, thumbs on his cheeks, looking for a space to land but tentative. Marquez forces him to open up, pressing in with punches in bunches, making Alvarado desperately roll out right hands and keep moving.

    10-9 Marquez

    98-90 Marquez
