Moog you are trying to defend the undefendable mate, you seriously need to take a step back!
I remember watching the documentary on Scott, he wore the sunglasses coz he was blitzed and got in a fight and had a black eye and still had the cheek to deny it

    Who cares in all honesty?

Scott has *****d his life and career away, and was never amazing anyway.

He's had more chances to put things right than anyone I know, yet still f*cks it all up.

    Good riddance, IMHO.

Its the Scottish office of BBBofC, there are many sub areas throughout UK. What happened in order

    1) Scott had license then it just got suspended following a story in the Sun that Scott had lost an appeal to a court case in Spain that went back to 2005 and he had an international arrest warrant issued
    2) The BBBofC in Cardiff (head office) said that he needed relevant paperwork from Spanish authorities to prove his claim that the story in the Sun was lies, and to provide it to Scottish area of BBBofC.
    3) He got this paperwork, provided it to the Scottish Board of Control who then conditionally granted him his license again
    4) The BBBofC at head office in Cardiff decided to then overrule this and say it was actually a matter for them to decide (this is after originally saying he had to appear Scottish area meeting)
    5) He then had to waited for them to have a meeting, which they did and they decided it was a Scottish regional matter after all and sent it back to them
    6) They had another meeting were it was decided it was a Cardiff matter, and Scott has now been personally been told to appear in front of them on June 11th
    7) If you now think this sounds bad enough now take into account all these meetings have been spread out over the best part of 1 year and u may see why I think its a disgrace.
    8) Would a double world champion like Ricky Hatton have got treated like this? No of course not
    9) Regardless if people think Scott Harrison should have a license or not my fundamental point is he deserved not to be messed about like this, and get a fair hearing with the correct decision makers.
    10) Why would they send him back and forward if it was not malicious? As they must know what office deals with these issues? It is I believe the 1st time the Scottish regional office of BBBofC has been overruled by head office in Cardiff.

I know he's been sparring willie etc but all I'm saying is if he had any intentions fighting on June 27th he shouldn't a been in that nick last night 5weeks before potentially fighting should he be reinstated on the 11th. IMHO I think he's used his 9 lives and should stop kidding everyone on including himself.

Drinking isn't illegal Stevie. Most boxers take a drink. Scott doesn't currently have a license, so there's no fight on the cards. I think you should stop stirring it and let it go.

Being given a licence to fight, should be considered ONLY on his behaviour in and around his fights. Scott has never once as a professional behaved in anything other than an exemplary manner.
Let him fights, if any incidents, ban him.
They're happy enough to licence Chisora despite the Klitschko incidents and Haye.

Scotts no angel, but just wants to fight to earn money, I can't see any problem with that, on a one **** up and you're gone basis.

Agree, plus I would say he is more likely to get drunk or in trouble if he cant box than when he can. At end of the day any bad press regarding him will always say boxer in it, so license or not boxing will get bad press. He should have been commended after coming back so well after 7 years, how many British fighters could have done that? Not many that's for sure

It's more than one **** up though, doesn't matter if he keeps his nose clean in training camps, if they do the stuff he does with the regularity then they can't ***** and moan if they aren't given a licence, and in all honesty his time has gone and it'd just be a sad case of an old fighter desperately clinging on as opposed to another hopkins

And as for chisora he should have been binned off after those aforementioned incidents

So they should give him a licence because if he didn't have one he'd go totally off the rails, do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds??

Fact is he was gave a license after his offences, and after he served time in jail for them. So he was punished. Its fact he was asked to supply paperwork which he did and the board has been having hearing after hearing then deciding its not there job to look at his case. That's whats wrong. Also Martin Murray has serious criminal record (nice guy has turned his life around, so has every right to box), Amir Khan mowed down a guy in the street, driving down the wrong side of road and crippled guy) and him and his mates beat a 16 year old girl up, He is allowed his license too, Mike Tyson was allowed to fight in UK even though he is a ******, so why is it a different rule for a Scottish boxer?

I'm fine with guys being given a licence if it's just one mistake or in the case of murray totally turn your life around, Harrison still has that case in Spain pending as well which as one said previous basically makes him a fugitive - nowt to do with him being Scottish

The documents he supplied prove that is not the case. As I have said the UK and Spain have an international arrest treaty, if it was true he would have been extradited to Spain long ago. Plus the so-called crime occurred before the 2.5 years he spent in a Spanish jail (nearly 10 years ago) and the Spanish authorities know about it all along, and it only became an issue when The Sun fancied lying as per usual (if they wanted him in jail would have jailed him when he was in jail first time).

Look I aint claiming Scott Harrison is an angel, but he deserves a fair hearing like everyone else. Would u agree them to addressing this issue for nearly 1 year is wrong?
