Does that depend on the result of thr Froch fight?

If this is followed up by an announcement of groves fighting on bt/itv as opposed to BN it's a great move, if he goes back to fighting on BN he's massively screwing himself over from such a strong position

Fcuk me never saw that coming - usually there's a lil whisper going around when something big like this is on the horizon..George does genuinely seem be very wary of Eddie - I thought it was just because of Froch but perhaps it's more then that..maybe he doesn't want to feel like he's pigeon holed into facing Degale/rematch Frich if he wins..

if Groves wins he's PPV from here on in so what real difference does it make whether he's on SBO or BN?

Not every groves fight will be PPV no chance. Degale rematch and maybe GGG or chaves but thats it for immediate future.

I've always thought that a move to Kalle would be great.

Eddie is too tight with Froch, and it's cost him with this signing.

Groves and Price on the same cards? Yes please!

    Mate BN is PPV...
Even if he stays on Sky I very much doubt he will be on anything else but Box Office..George to me doesnt look the type to want to make mandatory defences against (if he was to win the belt) softish opposions - he wnts to be a prize fighter just
Like his boy Haye fighting once or twice tops per year

Fast Car made his decision to favour Froch-now he has to live with the possible consequences.

As a Groves fan I'm not sure if I like this move. He will likely be fighting in the UK less. I would have loved to have seen him at Matchroom. Eddie will really not want him to win now at Wembley. The more I look at it the more Froch is a cert.

Interesting next 18 months for George Groves, regardless of what happens against Froch. He will prob get winner of Abraham/Smith.

Clearly Groves has done this to keep his options open- so long as he gives a good account of himself on May 31st he will likely get a shot at a title very soon.

As for TV rights it means that he is more likely to fight on Boxnation than Sky.
