I like both fighters but Khan is laying it on a bit thick against Brook. Reminds me a bit of Hatton and Witter but Hatton had more grounds to dismiss Witter at the time.

Still, Brook can't pass this up, it'd be a massive duck against a beatable champion.

Brook has a glass jaw, just like Khan.

Selby vs Donaire in Cardiff? Laughable.

Exactly this. I think he will fight Porter but if he doesn't that is it. He has nowhere to go if he doesn't take this fight. He would be better off taking it and losing than not taking it.

Only way I think that's viable if its at the Millennium Stadium. I know Hearn is talking of Bellew v Clev in Liverpool but if he can make that a world title final eliminator, and puts Donaire v Selby both on at the Millennium and a world title fight and all the Welsh fighters on undercard in good fights could see them getting 30-40,000 for bill. After all November or not just put roof over

You think that many people are going to come and watch Selby, Clev, a Scouser and a Filipino? Ok.:lol:

Cardiff city stadium would be plausible for a summer bout and more realistic imo

Over here in the States, Porter is the new flavor of the month in boxing. And perhaps it is earned. He looked tremendous in beating both Alexander and Malignaggi. However, I still find his skill level a bit crude. To me, Brook seems to be the more skillful and smoother boxer. However, unfortunately he hasn't really been in the ring with any real "elite" fighters. I'm just curious, do people in the UK see this fight as a winnable fight for Brook? If so, that could set up a massive UK event between Khan-Brook next year, which would be huge.

Brook is more skilled than Porter by a decent clip, but skill is not really what Porter's about. Porter is basically a poor man's Shane Mosley, he's a really good athlete with some boxing ability but his main game is to bull his way inside on his opponents and grind them down with fast combinations to the head and body as well as rough tactics on the inside with his good physical strength to back him. You can tag him easily, but he has a good chin. I would say that he hasn't faced someone with the same level of power as Brook, so that's pretty much what determines the winner of the fight. If Porter's chin can hold up as it has in the past against Brook's power, Kell is going to get worked over badly because he doesn't have much of an inside game, nor any great defense. However, Porter is a beatable guy.
