6th pro fight and people are talking about Spott and Rogan...

AJ is still very very raw and while he needs someone to give him rounds id be amazed if we saw either of him facing decent domestic level fighters before he's had 10 fights.

It was Hearn that was talking Sproutts, Skeltons egs originally. If he was getting none of them should have got him a foreigner with a half decent record instead of British number 30, that's just embarrassing

Probably too much ground work needed. The last thing Hearn will want is a Prescott situation and foreign unknown coming over and banging him out or really beating AJ up. Hearn can still get by with him being an Olympian for a bit yet. Give it another 4 fights and then see what hes fighting but if the likes of Wilder and only just fighting Harrison and Scott etc then don't be surprised if its someone fairly low level

I can see both sides of the coin on this one. On one hand this is a pointless fight really, if it goes a full round I will be suprised. But on the other hand its his 6th fight and he is still young, no need to push him too hard too fast.

Still think a slightly better opponent would have been preferable. Also as has been said before, we dont know what demands other fighters have had. So called "names" may have priced themselves out and any fighter with ambitions themselves wouldnt want an early KO defeat on their record.

Its a tough one to get right but Im sure in 5 years time no one will look back at this fight or remember it when AJ is fighing for titles.
