Paddy Fitzgerald - 'We will take the fight straight to Carl'

    'George is going to take it straight to Carl in the first round. He's going to jump on Carl. Carl is going to do what Carl does, he's not going to shy away and then a fight will break out'

    'The intention is to get rid of him in 3 rounds. There's no point in hiding the fact - Carl, George is coming for you. He's going to do it'

    Can't see this happening IMO, George knows he needs to pace himself for 12 rounds - its a big gamble to pour out a lot of energy trying to get Froch out of their in the first quarter of the fight

    IF Groves fight like he did in the first fight if he cant keep Carl down or force a stoppage it will go the same way and he will get ground down.

    Bad stategy IMO if true, groves needs to do what he did the first fight but pace it better sticking to 2 punch combos, 3 at most, then just get out of range and control with the jab. Throwing everything at froch could end in disaster, if carl survives it (which I reckon he would) then groves is ****ed.

    paddy has been saying this from the end of the first fight and sticking with it. they plan to expose froch's inside game.
