    Mayweather: "My health comes first"

Pac: "My phone is on 24/7"

Mayweather doesn't want the fight and never has, it's idiots like Fonzie and MVC regurgitating Mayweather's flimsy excuses that have played a big role in letting him get away with his cowardice.

    Why?

Why don't you tell me and back it up with some proof.

You telling me Mayweather won't get paid if Arum is Pacquaio's promoter?

    Uh...NO.

    That's not the case.

So Pacquaio will have to give his money to Arum. That's his choice.

Why does Mayweather care what another man does with his money?

    That's not his business.

    He's a fighter.

    Make the fight.

This is why I won't ever fully support Pac. I have and will continue to, call Floyd out on his bull****. When Pac does something stupid, you guys wont even admit it. You'll just somehow manage to bring up Floyd. Pathetic

What's with all this **** eating? lol Must be a cultural thing. Pac could leave Arum just for the Mayweather fight and then resign if he really wanted to fight Mayweather. Place the ball squarely in Mayweather's court. Arum is the main impediment and will make a fight with Mayweather when he is ready. It's amazing to me that people don't see Arum pulling the strings in this instance.

If there is anything better than a headshot... this would be it. Right on point.

Manny has the clout to be his own boss.
Manny says he fights for the fans.
The fans (his fans) want Mayweather because it is 100% Floyds fault and Floyd is ducking him.
Manny didn't even TRY to call Floyd's bluff. (If in fact it was one)

    Right.

Just like Mayweather promised Margarito to his face that he would fight him.

Margarito beat the hell outta Cotto and everyone was clamoring for the fight.

And the Margarito got the fight.

    NOPE.

So, why should Pacquaio trust Mayweather when he's been shown time after time after time after time to be a liar.

    Seriously.

Why don't you answer that question?

Would you trust Mayweather? Like I said, if there wasn't a Mayweather road block, there would BE NO ROAD BLOCK.

    Prove otherwise.

Why is Arum the reason it won't happen? Floyd said he was willing to fight in 2010, why is Arum a problem now and why do people accept Arum being Pacs promoter is a valid reason why the fight won't happen?

I can say Pac refusing to take a blood test is putting up a road block. I can say a cut that takes six months to heal and then mysteriously heals right away after Mayweather is locked up is a road block. I can say that building a stadium in a Vegas parking lot is a road block. Obviously these are not road blocks to you so it is all a matter of perspective.

Let's be real here. Anyone who seriously believes Pacquiao is ducking Floyd, he's fought a guy that gave him certified hell FOUR times and put him to sleep in their last fight. And he might fight that guy for a fifth time. He might lose to Floyd if they fought(and I'm 90% certain he would at this point in his career), but it is massively unlikely the way Floyd fights that Floyd stops him or does anything that causes Pacquiao significant harm. Pacquiao is not afraid of losing and has proven that repeatedly. Floyd has consistently proven that he is afraid of exactly that with his choices of opponents.

As to the promotional stuff, who cares. Floyd has said that Pacquiao needs to be his own man by leaving Arum and signing with Golden Boy. Nothing about that magically makes Pacquiao his own man, he's just signing with another company. Maybe Golden Boy gets him better fights and deals, maybe not. Mayweather himself is not even his "own man", he has his own team on paper but Golden Boy still runs him. If Pacquiao switched teams, I still have no confidence that a Floyd fight would be made, Floyd has shown time and time again that he's not interested in that kind of risk and that his words mean nothing. Doesn't mean he's still not a great fighter. But he's safety-first in all things.

Arum's whined a bunch about Floyd needing to leave Haymon and/or Golden Boy if he wants the fight to be made. He said he'd never do business with a scumbag like Haymon, talked a load of rubbish about Mayweather going solo, and declared the fight gets made immediately if he signs with King or 50 Cent (e.g., promoters more willing to let Top Rank do whatever they want).
