true on other TR boxers..but its more of a redemption for a 5th match, which i rather not watch.. for us who do follow boxing we would rather watch (first choice for me) thurman or even khan on my top two..but outside the forums, regular people dont know who thruman are. but i have good hopes or just dreaming that the cold war would end..a thurman fight would be a dream come true.

How can Bob Arum and the powers that be stop a $200 million fight [Mayweather vs. Pacquiao] from happening because of a personal difference? Because that's all it was. What gives Bob Arum the right to talk about Floyd Mayweather the way he does? He [Mayweather] wasn't a "coward" when he promoted him and he was making money off of his blood, sweat and tears or when he called him the greatest thing since Ali and maybe even better. But ah, the truth is going to come out now. What gives Bob Arum the right to stop a poor kid from Michigan and a poor kid from the Philippines from making $20, $30 or $40 million so that they can help their people? Floyd could have done wonders with that money if he did the right thing and took it back home and put it back into the city. Pacquiao could have done wonders if he brought that money back to the Philippines and did the right thing with it and gave back to the community. See, don't think this fight didn't happen because of a blood test. This is Bob Arum's way of saying, "screw you Floyd Mayweather and screw you Oscar De La Hoya." And the sad part about that is those are the 2 fighters, along with Pacquiao, that has made him the most money. But Bob goes home to a mansion. When Floyd goes back to Grand Rapids, he doesn't see any mansions. When Pacquiao goes back to the Philippines, he doesn't see any mansions, but Arum is comfortable, so he doesn't give a damn. agreed.....money comes first....sad because the first thing that comes to mind is Rigo...excellent skill but arum does not want to market him because he generates no money. Good thing rigo is on his list contracted fight.

The next minute, they act like Manny's years of invincibility with dodgy characters in his camp like Alex Ariza is "no big deal". Manny's second greatest sin is the people he brought into boxing who wouldn't have ordinarily watched the sport without him. He has produced legions of hypocritical casuals who are nonchalant about cheating in the sport when it comes to their guy, but are up and arms whenever someone else is suggested as being a cheater.
