I honestly think Pacquiao owes Arum money or something. Mayweather, Wlad, and Cotto are the only other fighters with comparable star power to Pacquiao. They are all well in their 30's like Pacquiao. None of them are tied down by a multi year promotional deal.

African Americans are the type of fighters that beat Pacquiao, considering most are more athletic than Pacquiao.

Pacquiao thrives on beating guys that are more rugged and in your face.

I'm not saying guys like Broner and Alexander would beat Pacquiao since they're levels below him, but they would naturally give him more problems than other types of fighters.

In fat Dan's article he mentions a signing bonus for an undisclosed amount. I figure Bob paid off the tax man, and Manny jumped at the chance to settle that debt. He probably gave him some cash too to keep him liquid in lieu of the lackluster ppv revenue. Arum says that the terms of the contract are a secret, and I believe that they are a secret for a reason. Manny was desperate to get out of debt, but he did so, by signing with the guy that out him in debt in the first place. Quackiao is a moron!

 

I don't know about anyone else, but I have absolutely no interest in another Marquez-Pacquiao fight.
