you think Pac did not consider this? We don't know the details of the TR deal and why he decided not to be a free agent. Perhaps as a non-American and not based in the US and being a politician and part time boxer, having a US promoter would be easier?

He can keep Koncz and just go as a free agent, is own Manny Promotions, or sign with GB. let alone Diabella, Goosen, plenty of options

You bring up interesting points. I saw another poster mention that perhaps Arum paid off Pacs debts as part of the deal. Apparently there was an undisclosed signing bonus. That being said, then I can see how it might have been the right decision or at least the attractive decision to someone who is deeply in debt. But as far as boxing is concerned, it was a shameful move. I'm a fan of Pacquiao the boxer not the man so I'm going to be critical of the decision because worse fights will probably result because of this. I remember many people said that Stevenson was justified in switching to Showtime because they paid him more which might indeed be true, but I thought that it was a bad decision because it made the Kovalev fight impossible.

Ultimately, I'm a boxing fan and as selfish as it sounds I want to see the best fights.

Fan for the longest bro! made alot of Money betting on him! (Bet him by KO against DLH in 8th round = 40-1!!, and against Cotto by KO +220

I just cant roll with dude anymore. theres no matchups over there. I cant believe he wouldnt even test FOR 1 FIGHT!!! If it didnt work out, resign next summer with TR

Pacquiao's loyalty will never be in question that's for sure. Bob recommended Pacquiao use Konck as his advisor and that same dude has Pacquiao in tax trouble. In which Arum has to bail him out and Pacquiao is indebted to him. Yet Pacquiao still trust these dudes with his affairs.

Thats not selfish at all!! As boxing fans, this is what we expect and re-signing with TR will not give us the best matchups and im not paying for no more Pac PPV's unless Arum actually stops the Cold War

don't know the details of the deal so I cannot judge if it was the right or wrong move. i'm not sure even if he can promote his own fight in the US

Everytime he fights it says "Top Rank with manny Promotions co promotiong" I know I heard that with the Bradley rematch.

and even if he cant he can still sign with so many other promotoers.

You dont need to know the details. Im sure GB can pay Manny more then TR can, so even if it was a money thing I highly doubt TR can paymore then GB.
