Fact: Cotto left TR and immediately got the fight with Floyd after everyone said Floyd ducked Cotto.

Fact: JMM was not with TR and got the fight with Floyd in 2009.

Every high profile fighter not with TR eventually gets a showdown with Floyd.

    Hm......

Uncle Bob promoted him great and made him a fortune, when Pac was beating the golden boys fighters floyd still woulnt fight him anyhow

And TR and GBP fighters will fight again soon and still floyd wont fight him, and you worried about him making millions with arum

But the big difference between Cotto and Pacquiao was that Mayweather has never bad mouthed Cotto in the past.

Mayweather was always talking smack about Pacquiao, he just doesn't like Pacquiao at all.

Again: The only difference when Cotto negotiated with Floyd was Bob Arum was not involved, when Arum would have been involved before. Zero issues in negotiations... not one, and Cotto's camp even complimented Mayweather's team for their professionalism.

There was absolutely ZERO TALK of a Cotto/Mayweather fight when Cotto was with Top Rank. Even Miguel Cotto admitted that Bob Arum "never brought the subject of a Mayweather fight up." That didn't stop Bob from saying Floyd was ducking Cotto in the media though did it? Exactly...

Bob Arum is full of **** and is a snake. I wouldn't do business with the man, and I don't even know him. Totally untrustworthy. The fact you guys dismiss the fact Arum still owes Floyd a substantial amount of money is amazing to me.

I have no doubt Arum has ripped Pacquiao off for millions of dollars. :deal

We have one example for this situation: Cotto with Top Rank = No Mayweather Fight.... Cotto Leaves Top Rank = Mayweather Fight is Made.

And we could use a second example: Mayweather with Top Rank = No Oscar Fight.... Mayweather Leaves Top Rank = Oscar Fight is Made.

What's the common theme here? Get rid of Bob Arum and the fight gets made...

Anybody who has Floyd's nuts in their mouth can't be a real boxing fan.
And any real boxing fan is a fan of Pac's.
So no, OP is not a fan.
A quick post history search will confirm that.

And nobody here knows the intricacies of Pac's deal with Arum so STFU.
Pac probably owes him huge (not just financially) thus the extended co-promotion.
Besides, if you even know Pac you know it's not his decision.
He always had a group of advisers to consult things like this with.

and pac has his own boxing promotional company that deals with arum's.

it's a complicated thing to get out at this point, esp with the coming elections in 2016 and pac reportedly putting together or be a part of a professional basketball team in the phils.

that's just too much time to worry about.

I think this is a Freddie Roach+ his manager's decision. I truly believe Manny has very little say in what he does. I think he puts faith into his team. It was a bad decision though, but one he feels his manager needs to make

Thank you for admitting that neither guy is actively pursuing the fight. That means Pacquiao too.

Why is it solely Pac's fault? One could just as easily blame the other side of the equation. Honestly, fans should blame both sides for the boxing Cold War. Only biased people lay all of the blame solely on one side. As with most grudges and long-terms arguments in life, both sides are to blame, and both sides usually have legit complaints that sparked the situation.
