while I hate Bob and wanting for Pac to leave TR,, I just cant blame Manny for staying with the man that feeds him and is a big part of what he has accomplished in his decorated boxing career. The man is just loyal and grateful to Bob.

Let the Mayweather-Pacquiao debate end once and for all. It's not going to happen and we all need to accept that. What we, as a boxing republic should be focusing is making sure this **** doesn't happen again. Make sure that for whatever reason 2 fighters who are clearly the best of a generation not fighting never happens again. Fanbases have been rabid at eachother, but need to realize that that only further made it okay for this fight not to happen. We just need to make sure that this never happens again. Boycott the **** out of both fighters, if this ever happens again. A Mayweather-Pacquiao fight even if it did happen in 2016 wont be the same. This fight is long past its expiration date, and we all missed out. And instead of realizing that, we've been in an endless debate over who would win, and who will lose. I'll continue to support both fighters for their careers, because they are both in the twilights of them and we should always watch greatness. But the fact is that this generation caught us off guard. We as boxing fans weren't prepared for this. Never in the history of the sport has politics and business controlled the sport so much. Obviously it's always been around, but it's never been this bad. We missed out on so many fights, not just Mayweather-Pacquiao, but so many fights due to networks, and promotional companies. The system that boxing currently uses is outdated. Sanctioning bodies have little to no power, rankings dont mean **** anymore. And promotional companies and networks have ruined the sport. Money has ruined our sport. What we must do TOGETHER, is to make sure that in the future this doesnt happen again. Let this May-Pac situation of the past 6-7 years be a lesson. If we dont take a stand as fans, we'll never get the fights we want. We have to stand against the man now. This isnt the 80s or even the 90s where we dont have a say, (and fights were still made). We are in a generation of social media and connectivity, we have the power to make sure this **** never happens again because it isn't alright, and it's killing the sport. We have to take a stand, if not we'll fall for anything. We already did. We've been going back and forth for years about this fight, and in the midst of it all, we never realized how terrible it is this fight never happened. So busy firing shots off, that we didnt see the sport being damaged in the crossfire. I will be excusing myself from all Mayweather-Pacquiao debates on this board from now on. There are no winners, but if anything the promoters, and the politics won. We as fans, lost big. A loss that will never be redeemable. A loss that we'll have to remember forever. A loss that future generation of boxing fans will blame us for, and a loss that future generations of boxing need to get right. It's time for us to realize that We control the money, We control who fights. It's all us. And If we don't set an example, the next generation will suffer too, because they'll look back at May-Pac and think that this **** is okay. It's not. And I refuse to accept it anymore, after they both retire. And you shouldn't either. Excuse me while I put out my blunt and give myself a round of applause. This **** was epic.
