Pacquiao should fight the winner of Cotto-Martinez at 160

Where would you guys rank him if he did fight and beat the winner of that fight? Look at the classic forums 100 greatest fighters in boxing history thread before you comment just in case you're one of those guys who thinks Miguel Cotto should be in the Top 100 or some shiit like that.

If Manny fights the winner of Martinez-Cotto for the MW championship i.e at 155/156lbs, I'm all for it. I'm pretty sure he's going to be fighting GBP fighters anyway like how Lomachenko is fighting Gary Russell Jr.

If he beats the winner of that fight, I'd rate him higher than Mayweather. It's no contest. Mayweather is 44-1-1 anyway on my rankings.

1. Flyweight to Middleweight - that is insane.
2. Beating great opposition rather than paper champions like Baldomir, Guerrero etc.

Pac weighed in at 151 with clothes on the day of the fight. Hed probably come in at 148 or so for a middleweight fight! would the commission even sanction the fight? i cant lie though, id love to see him somehow win the lineal middleweight title. a 5'6 midget who weighed 98 pounds for his first fight. hell, it would probably set up a pacquiao vs alvarez fight.

If Pacquiao were to fight and beat Martinez at 160, no catchweight, I'd rate him above Mayweather. I don't find his current 8 divisions that impressive because he and Floyd fought at the exact same weight classes, difference is Pacquiao turned pro before Floyd. And the fact that his Jr MW belt is fake, and he fought for the WW belt at 145.

 

Pac is too small for 160 lets just be honest.

his team knows better. cotto busted his eardrum at 145 in his prime. Now at 154 i have no doubt cotto hurts him. martinez even worse. only exciting fight for pac in the near future is ruslan.

 

Why is 160lbs even being a topic there IS NO WAY he makes let alone fight's at 160 wtf floyd wouldn't even do that and he bigger!!! Dude please manny BEATS cotto ALL DAY ALL DAY at any weight!!!!!! Manny tried to fight the guy at 150 he wanted to fight at 154…..floyd made 154 easily that's his walk around weight manny even at 150 comes in a 145 147
