Yes, I have been a regular contributor to ESB since Jan. 2005. seems like just the other day when I joined. My Facebook page was recently closed down
as with others, I was uncomfortable with security issues. Late in 2012 I used my card in an online transaction and fell victim to card theft with a runup of near 11 grand and last month there was another attempt so I took it down figuring why take chances. Besides, I really feel no real need to use it. ESB is better :good
you wouldnt need a credit card for facebook. but...either way....you can still look at that page without logging in. its nothing special though...all little stories and yarns you'll have heard before
its okay, sharing thoughts and ideas but then again, us men are generally busier than women and dont have time for that. I got sick of seeing outrage over the latest winner of DWTS or American Idol
some of you will have heard these already.....old radio broadcasts that were released by bill cayton. anyway....this is a great example of how wonderful don dunphy was... SUGAR RAY ROBINSON VS. JAKE LAMOTTA IV - FEB 23rd 1945 (Old Time Radio) https://www.facebook.com/classicboxingsociety/posts/444461209032231
actually...some of you will know about this... that bill cayton release says...and i quote... "Bill Cayton's PRIME TIME BOXING Presents: Sugar Ray Robinson versus Jake LaMotta IV February 23, 1945 The never filmed fight between Jake LaMotta, boxing’s famous “Raging Bull,” and Sugar Ray Robinson, boxing’s all-time greatest pound-for-pound fighter." but on youtube...there is this one labelled as robinson lamotta 4...from sweetfights.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Urei1OIWWFI is that youtube the 4th fight ??
Don Dunphy was the best Jimmy lennon the best announcer Arthur Mercante best ref ever. Ref mercante has refereed some of the biggest and best bouts
i was posting there today about an old online pal of mine from new york who used to go to the big fights in the garden in 40's / 50s onwards and hang round stillmans gym watching the training.....he's shared some of his memories....people with first hand memories like this are becoming few and far between i think....someone here might get something out of these like i did... https://www.facebook.com/classicboxingsociety/posts/445167882294897
