Everyone knows nobody likes Floyd, not even Floyd himself. In fact people hate him, and rightfully so. That's why noone buys a Floyd PPV because they don't want to see Floyd display his skills, they pay because they want to see him take a beating

Well, in his last fight he fought a guy with no skills, and almost nobody (as few as 800k) thought crude Maidana, who couldn't even knock down glass jawed Amir Khan and got schooled by Devon Alexander, could beat Flod. Instead Floyd was beaten from pillar to post, and only thanks to some paid off judges was he able to scrape by.

And what a genius move by Floyd. Now everyone believes anyone can beat Floyd, and it doesn't matter who he cherry picks for his next fight, the PPV numbers will be through the roof :deal

I don't personally know anyone who has bought a Mayweather ppv, since the de la hoya fight way back in 07, i sure as hell haven't...:verysad

As long as he fights in his hometown, Vegas with those **** judges who are paid off, who ever he fights will have to ko him to win:deal

Mayweathers fights are as about as predictable, and boring as watching paint dry, not to mention the undercards are ****, 25 years ago all of that bull**** would have been on free tv, what a rip off..

 

I pay to see his skills. A lot of people do. His hate/love fans are 50/50 imo.

 

By far the best fighter of this decade, no one else comes close.

He could fight on extremely competitively grounds with anyone in the FAB 4.

I pay to watch him box, his style is beautiful to watch.

 

All Floyd had to do was fight Casamayor and Paul Williams and no one would complain about his ducking.

 

Oh for sure, him and Marvelous would've gone down to the wire.

 

I wouldn't say he is a genius....however, he is street smart and knows how to read people.

Street smart and knows how to read people? Come on baba, this guy embarrasses himself everytime he opens his mouth. He gets played, really bad, in every interview. Supreme fighter but probably one of the dumbest athletes out there, and I don't even base that on how unarticulate he is.

 

You can't fight everybody, if he fought Casamayor and Paul Williams people would let him slide. I don't think he comes out of Williams with a win though.

 

His father and uncle are definitely not the sharpest tools in the shed...
