Marvin Hagler - Floyd wins because status of fighters isn't as great as years ago

Also, Calzaghe said before the Hopkins fight that he was to retire a legend after the fight, and that is just what he did. If Hopkins don't like it, then he shouldn't have taken the fight.

With the exception of Mayweather and Pacquiao all those guys are relatively new.and making there name there's no telling who will turn out to be what. Ray Leonard didn't come into his first fight as ATG Sugar Ray he had to fight his career.

Mayweather started fighting in 96 the question is about his opposition in his era well those are some of the top fighters of his era, Pacquiao/Mayweather/Hopkins are still top fighters today.

 

No, Leonard clearly beat him. And Leonard hadn't fought in 5 years and had a screwed up eye when he fought Hagler at a weight that wasn't his best. If Hagler couldn't beat that version of SRL, then that's on him.

The truth is that boxing has been on a decline since the 80s. However, I rank Floyd and PAC above the WW of the 90s (outside of pernell of course). News flash, you can be an ATG from a week era. The problem with Floyd is that before he fights someone they are the boogeyman and after they are a bum.

Floyd beats guys who are on good form... thats what i said no mention of them being legends. Another hater who twists words and can;t answer a question. Everyone has an opinion about fighters eras and what have you, if someone's opinion differs from you doesn't mean there right or wrong just that they have a different opinion.

At one point everyone thought the world was flat, one person said it was round and ended up being right.
The moral is just because a large group follows a trend or believes something doesn't mean what they believe is true.
