    Looks like the talks between Arum and De La Hoya went well

    I never thought I would see the day :shock:

    Bradley vs Khan fighting the winner of Pacquaio vs Marquez would be truly epic.:thumbsup

    De La Hoya has done it! :hail BUT only fighters that are signed to GBP are in the mix because Al Haymon and Showtime refuse to do business with any promoter other than GBP :bart Many fighters under Al Haymon are NOT signed to Golden Boy.

    One of the possible opponents is Mexican legend and Pacquiao's archrival Juan Manuel Marquez.

    "Juan Manuel has not committed yet to the fight. I'll have the opportunity to speak with him maybe as soon as next week because I invited Juan Manuel and his wife to come to Macau so we have plenty of time to discuss it," he said.

    Another possible opponent is Russian Ruslan Provodnikov.

    "Ruslan is fighting on June 14 on HBO. It will be shown in the Philippines and so he is also a potential opponent," he said.

    The third option comes from the roster of the best welterweights being handled by Golden Boy Promotions.

    "We will see which of these welterweights have been fighting for Golden Boy or on the contract to Golden Boy that Oscar can produce. Once we learn that, we can review those fighters. It could be Amir Khan. Canelo [Alvarez] is fighting too late. He's fighting in July. So for November, Canelo wouldn't be right. But maybe sometime next year," he said.

    They can't really do anything since Oscar is the only one who has the actual license. Haymon/Schaeffer are stuck. They have to go thru someone haha.

    Just the same way arum says pacquiao would fight canelo, cotto vs marines winner and floyd in 2016. Thank goodness. Yipeeeeee, Arum says Cold War is over. Lol

    But he may also be signed to GBP :deal Remember that Khan would have fought Mayweather WITHOUT being signed to Al Haymon had Broner beaten Maidana :deal

    I have my reservations about any alleged TR-GBP co-promotion. Let's wait until the contracts are signed before drawing any conclusions...

    Who the hell is Alexander and what happened to the December 7th fight? I guess after oscar falls out with Schaefer and al haymon ( cos that the only way GBp and top rank would do business) Arum would have to deal with al haymon who has a management contract with amir.... Of maybe arum could buy out the contract from al haymon for about 10m, then when amir loses to manny, what next.... Let's be real, Arum would say anything to create interest, and PAC fans would believe him even if it means Arum bringing up Martinez and canelo who can't make 155lbs any more.

    Khan would make more money fighting Pacquiao & he truly believes that he can beat Pac/got the better of their sparring sessions, also the november date is viable for both & its a way for Khan to stick 2 fingers up to Floyd, so win/win!
